WaffleHouseTour
Wow… that’s difficult. My home course from my tees at 6,300 is 124. From the back tees at 7,200 is 133 and I’ve never tried it from back there in the 20 years I’ve been a member, not even for “fun”. Tough enough where I’m at. Here's the course I usually play which is supposed to be one of the most difficult in the country. 146 from Senior tees is really tough; what course and what are the other tees rated? NM01
The two courses I play the most are 7001 yards and slope 135 from the tips 6525 and 134 from one tee box up which is where I normally play from the other which is used for us open qualifying rounds 7035 from the tips and 145 6525 and 137 from the next tee up which is where I normally play from KC Golf, cksurfdude and GaDawg
Golf2Much
Given the average golf course slope is between 110 and 115, I'd say 146 is pretty hard. I just finished measuring and rating a new course. The staff were influencing us to get over 7000 yards and the highest slope possible from the tips. Turns out, they didn't need much influencing. The par 71 layout had a rating over 76 with a slope approaching 150. I'm sure there is some level of bragging rights between courses on who has the toughest course. However, for the average golfer, even from the forward tees the course was a challenge. Having to play a course with that difficulty would be challenging for some, but I would think it would be overbearing for most. cksurfdude 1 Quote Titleist GT3 10 degree driver with a Mitsubishi MMT SpeedMesh 40 gram R2 shaft Titleist GT2 four wood with a Mitsubishi MMT SpeedMesh 40 gram R2 shaft Titleist GT2 seven wood with a Mitsubishi MMT SpeedMesh 40 gram R2 shaft Ping G 26 degree hybrid, stock Alta 65 gram senior shaft Ping G30 irons, 6-PW, gold dot with Fujikura EXS 60i R2-Flex shaft Edison wedges: 50, 55 and 60 degree, KBS Tour Graphite A flex shafts Putters: L.A.B. It's not the length 5753 meters, from the senior tees, plays longer with all the elevation changes, mountain course, difficult green complexes, designed by RTJ Sr. They did reset the tee boxes in July for the senior tees, length is now 5201 meters with the slope rating of 131. cksurfdude 1 Quote TSR2 driver 10 Cobra ltd fairways 3 and 7 Cobra forged tec irons 5-P Callaway wedges 54 and 58 TaylorMade del monte 7 face balanced putter

I am guessing what you refer to as the "senior" tees are the yellow/men's tees. Everything I find though shows 5700 meters and a 127 slope rating nothing that shows a 146 rating. cksurfdude 1 Quote Driver: G400 Max 9* w/ KBS Tour Driven Fairway: Paradym AI Smoke Max HL 16.5* w/MCA TENSEI AV Series Blue Hybrids: 915H 21* w/KBS Tour Graphite Hybrid Prototype 915H 24* w/KBS Tour Graphite Hybrid Prototype Irons: TR20V 6-11 w/Vizard TR20-85 Graphite Wedge: 54/12D, 60/8M w/Accra iWedge 90 Graphite Putter: Render w/VA Composites Baddazz Backup Putters: Sacks Parente MC 3 Stripe, Milled Collection RSX 2 Member: MGS Hitsquad since 2017
