Main site blog suggestion

I realize that there is probably a reason behind it. And I know they are 2 separate sites. (Forums and main/blog sites)

But it becomes cumbersome having to enter my username and email for every blog reply. Is there a way for forum members to avoid this? A way to login so that our topic replies show as us (just like the forums do)

Unfortunately there is not. It runs on a separate platform and many comments are processed and need approval before showing up. Same goes for when I post there. 

I can ask, but as this runs on an entirely different platform I don't believe there will be a way for their system to recognize who is a member and who is not.

Is it safe to assume the reason that it is like that is to reduce how much traffic each has at one time to not overload the site?

There’s a “main blog site”? I’ve never been there. I follow the Facebook site and comment there too. 

I could play golf every day and learn something new each time.

It's more to reduce bots and potential spam - you should see what our system catches. Yikes!

I imagine it's quite a task.  I guess I'm grateful that we don't have to use captcha there at least...😆 

But I would think with forum members being mostly verified, it would eliminate that bit spam quite a bit too
