Trim data for old Harrison steel shafts

Recommended Posts

I have a number of Harrison IS3 steel shafts that I bought years ago when I was more into club building. I want to use one of them to repair a broken shaft for a friend. The shaft has a tag that says "Harrison - The longest driving shaft - IS3 R/F flex".

Harrison has been out of business for some time. I have searched, even in Wayback Machine for trimming data. I did find some, but it has no reference to the IS3 (or IS2 which also existed at one time)

Anyone have trimming guide  or know more? (I no longer have my purchase records)

My shafts are same as ones in this link: New HARRISON IS3 Steel Lite Golf Shafts ~ Set of 8 | #159288753 (worthpoint.com) (seller included trimming guide that I am looking for 😞 ) https://www.worthpoint.com/worthopedia/harrison-is3-steel-lite-golf-shafts-159288753

Trimming guide that I did find (no mention of IS2 or IS3.

I would just go with the instructions for the combination flex R/F, the third one on the top. I think that Harrison kept the trimming the same for any model that came in the R/F combination flex.

I did use that chart - Chose the F - Flex because the Project X R flex shaft being replaced was said to be on the stiffer side.

Club been in use for about 3 weeks and my friend is happy with the result!
