Hey Morris nice bag. How you like that XCon5? I have one of those on stand by. I've heard good things about the shaft.

MC, I always missed having the Md in the bag in my quest to try new stuff. Now at worst it'll have back-up status.

Tim, the Xcon5 works fine for me, and I think it's a good match with the 909 DCOMP head. It's one of those "made for Titleist" deals, and it has a little higher torque than the standard Xcon5. I play it in stiff flex, and I'd say it feels more in between regular and stiff.

The Hoffman wedge head was one of a bunch that somebody was unloading on Ebay some months ago. Hoffman - now defunct - was one of the last remaining US-based forging houses that did work for such big OEMs as Titleist and Callaway. They supposedly made irons for Tiger when he was with Titleist.

I'll get a larger photo posted of mine in the next day or so.

Nice wedge! Yes Hoffman use to be Titleist go to house for years (among other OEMS back in the day), but now every OEM seems to be either in Japan or China getting their clubs made.

That is an awesome putter. I love the simple and classic lines of it and the hossle is great. Thats my biggest issue with most putters is the hossle.

That is a good looking putter, and nice point about the hosel. I had to go back and look again, and it really is well made and attractive.

I'll tell you both something else: the pyramid grooves really make the putter feel like it's made of soft carbon steel - as opposed to stainless - upon impact with the ball.

Im gonna have to check out Kevin Burns now. Maybe I need something to roll as a back up incase I can't get used to my Scotty. All I do know is that I'll never use an insert putter again.
