Damn, I was looking for this product when my kids were born. They are now 8 and 5, so no longer needed

well...... this looks very interesting!
What if you don't wear a glove?
Use the strap around your hand.
I have the feeling all this feedback is going to mess heavily with the current swing, trying to make it all "perfect".
I know I sometimes have an early release, just never managed to fix it...

I promise I tried! Unfortunately a lot of OEMs are set up with divisions rather than being purely Global. Even getting US and CAN has been difficult this year.
Do you think we could use MGS to contact their other divisions for example in Europe? They won't react to the average Joe asking, but with MGS behind I'm sure we could move something.

US only
But good to see Mizuno mixing it up with the big boys! Their irons have always been top 3 for me, but the long sticks somehow always under the radar...

This is perfect... speed training sessions in the backyard that won't interrupt your daily routine with the kids/house work, etc... and still leave weekends free to play real golf!

Lol I was confused with the name... thought it was another JDM wannabe... then read it means "forged" in Finnish.
Are they only available with KBS shafts?
I wonder how the 301CB forgiveness will fare, even though they have perimeter weighting, they don't seem to be very forgiving.

Possible ... could be
Regardless of color combination, they should still provide a way to tell the weights apart... so I would agree with your initial assessment. Missing wrench and no marking for the weights are not ideal in this price category.

@xOldBenKenobiX so unlike other testers your sweet spot was with heavy weight in the middle?
I thought low launch high spin is what people usually search for with wedges?

My daughter just hit a ball into a so-called practice net... it hit the frame, got deflected and put a dent on the garage door. Wife not happy... so I don't think we are allowed to try these kind of devices in the near future
But to the rest of you, good luck!

I'll jump in if you need to fill the quota, but also OK with yielding if you got enough applicants.

Great job guys... definitely seems like a good product and could use some tweaks to make it stellar. I think my biggest question after reading is do you think this is a sustainable model and something that can be brought to more devices in the future and for potentially cheaper? Is it worth it and do you think the added features are something you would like to see on more rangefinders?
Right now I am imagining a normal video camera that has the flip out screen and maybe that is a future model type that could be looked at so the screen is bigger and maybe more functional then the little dot and can be stored if you didn't want or need to use that feature at the time.I think the higher price is dictated by being the first on the market. Take the device apart into a LRF and a GPS. How much does this cost separately? Let's say $150 each? Add in a little bit extra computing power for the green ondulations and deduct some tooling cost to integrate all in one housing? Not considering stat tracking right now.
It seems like a lower price point is definitely attainable, but we'll need a couple of other OEM's to step up and offer alternatives.

Thanks for the insight, guys. After reading it, I'm almost glad I was replaced for this review
OK, this sounds bad after rereading, so I gotta clarify this. I'm not taking a jab at VC. On the contrary, I commend their guts for bringing something new out on the market, that's what drives innovation.
But I got a LRF and I got a GPS, so what really had me interested was the green function and that wasn't available for international courses.
So I wouldn't have been able to test the most intriguing aspect. -

Inside of the nice leather case, there is a tag indicating Made In China. There is a tag attached to the carabiner loop which says "CAUTION", but then everything underneath that is written in what I assume is Chinese. If anybody reads Chinese, can you please let us know of what we are supposed to be cautious?
Hmmm that's Korean.
Internet translator says something like "the pouch can stain after rain/sweat in the summer, so avoid wearing white". The 2nd is translated into something really weird... AS (after sales) not being available after serial feasting??? Whatever that means...

I ended up submitting a request to add two courses to Voice Caddie's list on July 18th; one with a scorecard PDF and the other without. I don't see either of them listed on their website and I never received an email reply for either submission. Sand Valley and Mammoth Dunes are $225 resort courses that I was hoping to play later this year with the SL2 in tow.
Hopefully we'll receive our rangefinders soon and can start posting some good news/reviews on the product since the support hasn't exactly wowed us yet.
Same. I tried submitting 1 course about a month ago and still nothing so far.

Gratz boys!
Look forward to reading your reviews, although I can't see myself going iOS

I have a question for the testers:
The reason we decided to opt out on this test was due to the lack of GPS info for international courses.
So I'm curious as to how accurate the data for US courses is and if outdated, how fast does their support react. Do they reply almost immediately like Shot Scope or do emails remain unanswered?
Perhaps you guys get the chance to pick a nearby course that has gone remodeling and email their support for an update.

I will reiterate what I said in my intro, super bummed for @Kanoito for having to opt out of this test but totally ecstatic to join the crew! If anybody has any questions or specific testing ideas they want to see hit us up!
My intro is up. Will get some pics up soon as well.
Don't sweat it man, other opportunities will follow. Make us proud and enjoy!

Congratulations Testers! I've not really considered a range finder but perhaps your reviews will change my mind? Have fun!
That's what I thought as well until I saw my wife using her Garmin S20 last week.
Will let you know how it pans out!

Sweetness! Thanks MGS!
Due to COVID, won't be going anywhere, so it's golf all summer lol
-
I certainly hope they implemented the improvements gathered from all testing feedback.

I'm actually surprised the tool recommended the 58 D grind, since I rarely take divots... but it's been years since my SM7 fitting...
Now that my daughter is competing on a weekly basis, I can go play 9 holes with her, 3 times a week!
