I remember last season seeing a ton of 360s for sale at steep discounts. It could be that adidas is trying to push people more into the ZG1.

As far a supply, golf was huge last season so it's likely that a lot of new golfers bought 360s on discount or golfers getting back into golf did. I have still seen quite a few of the tour 360 XTs around in 10.5.

Any advice where you e seen them?

  2. Is it me or is anyone else having trouble finding shoes right now? I’m a size 10.5 and no one seems to have the ones I like in stock. (Specifically looking for Adidas Tour 360, but other shoes I kind of like no luck either)

Or is there something I’m not tuned in to and they just haven’t released and it’s still old stock?

If this does ever happen in real life, by federal law/USGA rules, you have to play another 18 immediately following your unrecorded round. My wife doesn't like this rule, but I don't want to commit a crime so I press on. The couch and I are pretty good friends on golf days.

I may have to use this law! I mean she wouldn’t want me to break the laws right?

Oh, I see someone is in for a lot of sleepless nights during this challenge.

    Assuming I sleep normally!

I have the iphone 7 plus and it barely misses any shots.  Have noticed thicker pockets or material doesn't allow the phone to hear shots as well, but still only misses some putts while thinner clothing nearly every shot is picked up.  GPS - I have never had an accuracy issue but I use iPhone.  Seems like a lot of people need to turn on an Android phone like 15 minutes before their round to get a good GPS location.  I've never used the link before.  Did you go in the section of the app where you can test the pairing to make sure they all paired well?

I did not do the testing, I read about that after the round. I have iPhone 12 Pro so it shouldn’t be a phone thing. My Garmin watch was giving me good distances and I was wearing a fairly thin pant. Will keep trying to fix it

  5. First round with the arrcos sensors and it was rough. Not sure if user error of what but the link picked up only my putter, switched to phone and gps was way off, like hitting 600 yard drives from totally wrong tee boxes… spent much of the round manually editing the shots and clubs. Then post round I have no driver stats. Shot a tough 93, had one really really bad hole

I had some very similar expectations going into last year's challenge and I was right about everything except the Big Tour Fairway, which turned out to be a huge surprise off the tee and the deck and continues to be my favorite club in the bag!

Here’s hoping!!! I think the upside possibilities are there for the big tour, but I’ve alaways struggled with woods. Be nice to have a long club when I’m struggling with driver

Nice! I feel like those first 5 rounds took forever to unlock all the Arccos features.  But it ended up being pretty eye opening and perfect to lead into the challenges last year.

I will say the one thing I don’t like is that locked down until you play. I like to go in and mess around with apps and see what they look like

  8. following @jlukeslead, I really liked his idea on prethoughts of clubs coming

Although I didn’t have a true fitting as I couldn’t find a good one locally that I could get in with I was able to go to the local big box store that had a demo set of everything but the wedges

Most Comfortable Clubs: Radspeed Irons, hitting the demo set I was striking the ball really well and it seemed to be more controlled than what I am used to, as well as flying further (which I later realized there’s about a club difference in lofts) than my normal distances. The felt great on impact as well!

Most Worrisome Clubs: Radspeed Big Tour Fairway, if I hit it well it went far, but based on the demo swings it’s a big IF.

Sleeper club: MIM wedges, wasn’t able to hit them but reading about the wide low it could be magical for me. My current wedges are my favorite club in the bag so the MIM will have a challenge.

Anything you testers will be honing in on your game wise? Is there something you’re looking for out of a specific grouping of clubs to benefit/improve a certain aspect of your game? Early thoughts.

Really going to try to nail down my distances to a smaller window, right now there’s always a choice between clubs of what to hit. Hoping the arrcos can give me better ideas to what club to use.

I'm wondering the same thing, although I'm sure an OEM is prepped and ready to support a test like this.

I did notice the guys are being asked to list 4 different grip choices; I'm guessing supply issue?  (I'm sure no one is complaining though...)

The grip industry is very delayed. All the bug box stores around me have such slim pickings on grips if any at all.

This is the type of bag setup I should have gone with last year. That Big Tour would be a good tee club for me, I think.

It'll be interesting to see how you handle the gap between the Radspeed gap wedge and the 56 degree MIM!

That was my concern when picking clubs out that it was too big of a gap in clubs, but I thought about it and I have a 48* gap wedge now and a 52* and 56* and I rarely use my 52* unless greens are really soft and I need more roll. I figured if I can hit the bug tour off tee straighter I can make up more strokes than with a 52*

  12. Was able to find a local store that had the Cobra clubs to demo and did a mini fitting on my own. Have to repeat myself the faces are HOT, also I noticed when comparing the distances the lofts are bit lower per club than my current AP1 set. I was hitting the 7 iron 170ish, normal 7 iron is 160ish.  They only had the one shaft though.  Was generating a bit more club head speed as well with these. I think I have finally narrowed my picks down, the XB Driver, Tour Fairway 2 hybrid, Radspeed irons and MIM wedges! Cant wait to get them!
