I have been gaming Cobra for the past couple of years. Originally it was the CB/MB Black. Then graduated to the Forged TEC Black. This was my first foray into Cobra and all I have to say about them is good. 

This is amazing. I really liked my cobra irons I use to play. Good luck to everyone

I had to sign up for this. The full bag is so exciting as I haven't had matching equipment since my Spaulding starter set about 30 years ago. 

Add in the ability to try one length clubs and I am head over heels at the opportunity. I've been curious about these since their inception. I filled the form with Aerojet, but would be equally thrilled to try the forged tec one length.

The thing that really excites me is the social competition aspect of this particular testing event. This season I've gone from playing once a week on average to 4-5 times a week. I've started calculating my own handicap and have gone from 20 to 11.5 most recently. Still, most of my rounds are twilight solo sessions and I've never joined a golf league. The Virtual Tournaments here at MGS are my first taste of posting scores amongst a group and I'm hooked.

I can promise I'll be an overly active contributor. My dad will be in NJ most of May-July so he will pay for some nicer courses than I'm used to and I will have a photographer for better action shots.

This would be so awesome! The Amp Cell was/is my favorite driver I’ve ever owned. So much so, that I still go back to it from time to time when I need to get right. Good luck to all the entrants!

I remember the Amp Cell well, mine was bought at a time when a slice could not be stoped. So I decided on the Amp Cell Offset. My first foray into Cobra and since then there has and always will be cobra in my bag. 

Sounds like a great opportunity! I play min 2x/week already in our women’s league in the summer and would happily welcome a some fun competition.

Happy anniversary Cobra! Coincidently, it is my 50th anniversary of being introduced to the exciting,ever-so humbling,addictive game of GOLF!

I have been attending several demo days this past month and recently purchased the new Paradym driver and 5wood. Cobra was among the top 3 I tested but the Paridym won by a slight margin. I am now looking to replace my Mizuno JPX 919 irons and the Cobra’s are on my radar. I would welcome the opportunity to be selected for this test. Played Cobra off and on since it’s early days when they produced persimmon woods , actually had a set owned by JC Snead , Sam’s nephew , blond persimmon woods , play golf daily so could give these clubs a workout

Not neccesarily 

Actually the Cobra Challenge signups in the past are not typically record setting application amounts.   And a large part of that is we (the staff) try to be very upfront about the time commitment and expectations of the testing that are asked of all particiapnts.   It's much much more than a normal test of a driver or irons.   You are going to spend a lot of time not only playing and on the range, but writing up several full reviews of the entire bag. 

I give a huge amount of respect to those who would love a full bag, but choose not to apply knowing they couldn't meet the expected time commitments. 

 

To all who are applying, this is a serious test and needs people whom are willing to devote a lot of time and effort into it. Yes it is great fun but you have to be willing to work hard to justify your place in the pantheon of CCC heroes. Good luck to all that apply but think very seriously before putting yourself forward.

Damn MGS is pulling out all the goods this year for testing.  When will it end!?!? Another insane opportunity for everyone.  I put my name in the hat for those AeroJets.  The design looks sweet and look like they could be a pretty direct comparison to my current SIM2s.  Good luck everyone.  Since my chances are slim to none to be picked, I'll be jealous of those with just another added excuse to tell the significant other they "have" to go play golf. You know...for science

Love this - appreciate you and the rest of the admin team not only putting together these incredible tests but being upfront / transparent with the commitments required.  

 

Candidly, I've never gamed a Cobra club, but constantly hear GREAT things about their products (especially the new Aerojet drivers).  Crossing my fingers I get a chance!!!
