I was at a conference in San Francisco last year and caught a few highlights in the evening (Thursday-Sunday conference, of all days) and went to the vendors booth area on Sunday and several had TVs setup and all were showing The Masters. Just as Tiger was coming to 16 I had to leave for a mobile workshop so I missed the last few holes. Nice to watch the final round yesterday. Had the same conference in 2002 in Chicago and watched part of it at an ESPN restaurant while sitting in recliners. Also there will be something like 7 majors, The Ryder Cup and Olympic Golf all in less than a 12 month period if everything goes off as currently scheduled, starting in August of this year. I watched everyone of the MastersRewinds this weekend. To think I spent 6 hours on Saturday and Sunday watching golf non stop of tournaments I had already seen is pretty remarkable...well SWMBO had different words for it...LOL I really enjoyed watching Phil's win in 2004 and all that it meant to him. Having both he and Tiger join Nantz for the look-ins during the broadcast was very cool as well. Big thanks to the people at Augusta for allowing CBS to do that. Usually they keep the rebroadcast of those things locked up tighter than Ft. Regarding Masters in November, my money is on a European winning. WX at that time can be dicey or a balmy, sunny 70* If former, it favors the likes of long hitters like Rory, Tommy Fleetwood, and Jon Rahm.
