Titleist 917 F2 3 wood + PX Evenflow Blue

So believe it or not, this is my first ANYTHING from Titleist that I've ever owned.. well kind of.. not counting ProV's. I've been looking for a really solid 3 wood to use mostly off the tee. I'm a regular at a local exec so the par 4's are too short for full driver at around 300 - 350 ytd. Additionally, when playing more standard length courses, I still like to use the 3 wood as I still seem to get some decent distance and a little better disbursement for tighter layouts. 

Does anybody have any experience with either of these or maybe even the combo? The shaft isn't listed on the Titleist site as a stock option so thinking maybe it's aftermarket? It's not "handcrafted" so maybe just not higher end?. but I'm not sure as I'm also not too familiar with PX stuff either. I bought it with the standard 14g "neutral" weight. I've personally set it to C1 just to see how much distance I can squeeze out.

What I bought it to replace is an Adams Tight Lies 3 - 14*. The better looking one circa 2015. It has a UST Pro Force V2 Black 65g S+ flex. The club has been a rocket launcher when I'm hitting it well. It's definitely much smaller in overall profile and face height and is kind of the reason I decided to go bigger with the 917. It's most definitely a driver replacement when needed so I just wanted something that felt a little more like a driver and less like a fairway wood.
