My phone stays in the cart. They just added a new feature that allows you to start a round right from the Watch, so it’s much more convenient. TR1PTIK
Looks like I'll be giving Arccos another go since I was able to get the sensors for free with a 45-day trial. I left my Shot Scope H4 at the golf course last week and figured why not. I was able to get a replacement H4 at a discount though so Arccos is really going to have to impress me this time around if they want me to pony up an annual fee. I understand why they do it, but I still think their pricing is out of whack. I'll be using it with my Apple Watch SE2 and can share my thoughts on that experience for anyone interested. ncwoz 1 Quote Driver: ST190 9.5* Fujikura Atmos Blue 5S Fairway Wood: ST190 15* Fujikura Atmos Blue 6S Hybrid: CLK 17* Fujikura Speeder EVO HB Irons: J40 CB (3-PW) Dynamic Gold Tour Issue X100 Wedges: Milled Grind 2 54* & 58* Dynamic Gold S200 Putter: Tri-Hot 5k Two 34" Bag: Players 5 Stand Bag Ball: Maxfli Tour

I used Arccos off and on for several years before and this is the best result I've ever seen in terms of how many shots it detected and how accurately they were placed. I even used the 1st gen Link device and didn't get these kinds of results. I won't say it's a slam dunk, but it certainly is promising. Play18
The Apple Watch upgrade improves app startup and performance. I still use the iOS app to review hazard yardage and ask Caddie for suggestions. It's humbling and sobering to see post-round analytics, but I can share data with my coach and work on the improvement areas. The golf activity automatically updates on Whoop, too. The battery drain is significant, but a 100% charge before getting to the course will prevent switching to the phone on the last couple of holes. I am still hesitant about the annual subscription though, and how high it might go @Paul Hedrick I have been with Arccos for this season due to them being included with new Ping clubs. I have had both added/missed shots on occasion - today's round included 2 'extra' shots. Easily handled through post-round editing. I did have to play with my phone in my front pocket due to leaving my Link at home I echo the issue with an annual subscription fee. I did contact Arccos, informing them their subscription does me no good when the temp drops below 50 degrees and/or the snow starts flying here in Indiana. I suggested they offer a modified subscription - with my full understanding I wouldn't be able to use their software during the months of Dec thru March. Their response? I must pay for a full year; no exceptions. KC Golf
Paul, Easiest way is to just check the Arccos scorecard in the summary and then if you see it’s off then go hole vs what you remember hitting on the Arccos scorecard, I actually now look at the front 9 and the back 9. If it seems off I look at the Individual hole scores to find what’s discrepant. Now with an Apple Watch it’s pretty rare. I do look at the pin locations on each green post round to make sure it’s right. Again you can find this summary on the scorecard in Arccos. I find the first putt distance can be off sometimes by a lot. Just look at the first putt distance on the summary score card. Hope that helps! I have had this same problem with the old and new Links. If you stand in the spot for a bit longer I find it does get more accurate I usually set location when I have finished the hole and I set the flag stick back or stand next to it for a longer period. Which is harder when you are still playing the hole with others It’s a lot better with the Apple watch but it still can be off. The key information is the distance of the first putt for stat purposes. I usually just check the flagstick locations after my round on the scorecard summary to see 1st putt distances and if they are off I change it by going to that particular hole. Hope that helps! Paul Hedrick
5 hours ago, Play18 said: @Paul Hedrick I will review every few holes to check shot accuracy on my iPhone app. If there is a missed shot, the edit add shot feature will select possible areas of missed shots based on your GPS location from tee to green. The missed shot locations might be playing partner's shots, too. Thank you. Quote Bag C130, 14 way Cart Bag Driver TSR1 Fairway.
