Thoroubred golfer
I’m a 5 handicap. Shoot between 70 - 80. My driver club head speed with ball using flight scope is 90 to 92. Total distance around 250. I bought the cheap radar monitor and started the stack program. After 3 sessions shows my club head speed 73 with distance potential 212. Any explanation? cksurfdude

What radar did you get with the stack system? I know the swing speed radar with superspeed had to be placed properly else you could get misreads easily and same went for PRGR. They need to be placed in the right spot consistently else results on them will vary wildly. sirchunksalot, Thoroubred golfer, GolfSpy_BOS and 1 other 3 1 Quote as of Oct 5, 2024 (Past WITB) Driver: GT2 with Graphite Design AD CQ - check out the Driver Shootout! GolfSpy_BOS
It can also take several sessions to get used to the swing speed programs. keep at it and you should see the numbers jump up as you get more comfortable. cksurfdude, sirchunksalot and Placasse61 3 Quote Qi10 - Terra Forza White | Speedzone 5-wood - Ventus Blue 8S | G430 3-Hybrid - Kai'li White 80s SMS Pro 4-PW - Steelfiber i110S | MG3 Raw Black 50.09, 54.11, 58.11 - DG TI S200 Mezz Max | Pro V1x | Vortex Blade | Ghost Maverick Black Ops - Forum Edition | CaddyLite EZ v8

snicerz
I think there is definitely an adjustment period with the Stack. I was in a similar situation when I started but as I got used to swinging the Stack, it actually started going the other way. It was posted on another thread (Off-season speed challenge?) but there is a video floating around about why your speeds may differ. At this point, I'm actually faster on my driver again as I'm more focused on the swing and not trying to overswing which sometimes brings in some not so great swing mechanics. Current Stats Stack Speed: 102 Driver eSpeed: 106 Real driver speed (no ball): 112 On course, I'm not hitting the ball over 300 yards every drive but I'll get a couple that make the distance without wind help. Average on course is around 280-290.
