Rob Person
Well, seeing as I've only been playing a couple of years, here are some of the highlights. And also a sort of journey of my growth into golf. It only started out as some fun with the guys to work off stress from our jobs once a month. We were literally the golfers that are loathed. BobDoesSports were our inspiration on more than one occasion, minus the talent! 36 holes of golf today... I'm wiped out! cart dies on the 6th hole. no range Marshal except on weekends. had to walk 30 minutes back to clubhouse. told the pro shop where there cart was. got a new cart, made it to the 3rd hole and got a flat tire.then. they have us a free round though, so all was well. all in all a good day though. I may have upchucked in the sand trap on hole 11 the second round due to the fun hole challenges and shots of whiskey associated with them. My wife came out to play the role of beverage dispenser one day, I still think this was her favorite part... Just some random pics on courses This was my best shot ever! Downhill from Tee box, wind behind me. It's these moments that make you come back for more (and give you false hope too! Hehe) This was on a par5, hit my 2nd, and couldn't find it. Buddy said it must have hit a root or a rock and jumped. This is 20 yards off the fairway...play it as it lies? But, one of my favorites was teeing off at The Judge course at RTJ Capitol Hill. GolfSpy_SHARK
Another scroll through day. below 2 are from a round in 2022 with my dad @Placasse61 my cousin and son. Hot August round. Remember this round well not only because it was a good round but my son on the par 4 4th (signature hole) is about a 100 yard uphill carry from the whites to clear a large ravine. Well my son had been playing the reds as I normally have him do and as he usually does begged to play the whites. We got to the 4th hole and I said ok if you can clear this ravine then you can play the whites today….wouldn’t you know it….he cleared it. He even got to drive the cart. Steve F
Only 2+ years of photos, but this was the best for me of 2023. 13th hole, par 3 at River Downs, MD. My tee shot which I was stoked about! Did birdie the hole, thank goodness!
