Erin B
Good evening MGS troops! Humpday sucks. Still battling tricare… My spousal unit had to get involved too… So we ran over to FE Warren and got POOP done! The nurse wrote a new referral and will engage with the fools at tricare if this doesn’t work. Finally have an advocate in our corner. So that’s that, weather is kinda blah so I didn’t play today. I still need to finish my evaluation on the Bridgestone Mindset balls. They’re awesome for putting. The system stayed in my mind when putting. I didn’t see much gains by using it off the tee because I already do the system. One last thing before I leave you; found a funny today and wanted to share it. Enjoy!!! Have a great evening! Erin B
Long day MGS Troops. We were in Denver till 1, got us home at 3. We left at 5:30 am to get to the 8:30 appointment. Morning traffic in Denver is horrible. Anyway, the imaging took 2 1/2 hours. We don’t know the results yet so that’s stressful. So the spousal unit told me to go unwind at the golf course. I played 9 and was striping the ball! I just couldn’t focus on putting. It was bad. I couldn’t get in the right mindset. On another note I did test the Bridgestone Mindset again. Dead Solid Bogey
Good evening spies….. If you listen intently, you might be able to hear the whimpering outrage of an old man on the Tex-Mex border. Work wise there was not much theft or damage on the work site. Nothing belonging to “ Those People “ was misappropriated or damaged. However as I was preparing to return to the “ Dark Kingdom “; you-know-who sent me a text including the following pictures. The “ Princess of Pain “ informed me that since I couldn’t play golf and might not be able to ever play as often as I had; she was reallocating and reassigning some of my retired golf gear to other functions. The would be “Empress of Everybody”; stated she was starting with this bag that hadn’t seen sunlight since the start of the last millennium. She stated that it will make a nice little yard tool carry-all. The woman has NO clue where we keep or what kind of yard tools we even have. Instead of going directly back to the serfdom of husband hood, I might meander around looking for a Cartel recruitment center and see if the elderly can enlist. Dead Solid Bogey
8 minutes ago, TJ Hall said: My deepest sympathies for you! Maybe use the argument that it already carries lawn tools…irons and wedges do wonders to remove weeds! Thank you for the concern and suggestion. I had been feeling rather grownup about making the “ painful “ decision of passing on getting one of the Ghost Bags because of the uncertainty of my playing status. I am NOW so glad I passed on the bag. Can you imagine the horror of coming home and finding that the “ Decorating Duchess “ had turned the Ghost Bag into a planter!! Erin B
Still windy and poopy outside. Good evening MGS Troops! Hope all is well. Got a lot of work done today so that’s good. How'd you all do? Maybe I can get out and golf a little tomorrow. Los poopies have been driving us nuts. Brun-nasty has been farting up a storm too. Lucy keeps chasing him around and that makes him fart more! The other dogs are just watching and wondering why. There you go, my evening. Have a great evening! Rob Person
Snagged a diamond plate toolbox for the pickup today after playing 27 holes, for $40. No keys, shocks blown, cross lock bar missing, and filthy insides. But no dents or twisting. Ordered 2 shocks for 8.99, looked up the key code off the lock, and grabbed the jar of lost keys. Had 2 that fit it! Worked the lock with some penetrative oil until it moved freely. Simple green and dawn soap cleaned up the insides nicely (with some bristle brushes and elbow grease) found a piece of 1/4 " rod, drilled the end, bent it on the vice and bam! Cross latch works again. Picked up a roll of sticky door draft sponge and lined the tip. Also ordered the locking clamps for the bed. Now all I need is a stretch of rubber mat to trim for the bottom and edge wells. Also smoked some chicken breasts for dinner.
