Is this the one you mentioned in the community call? If so, thank you I was trying to remember what it was.
It was. I can't sleep so I have been watching various golf videos the last few hours and remembered I needed to post this one.

No egos, what are the yardages for each of your clubs? Are you happy with how things are gapped out in your bag? Do you wish there was more consistency in certain areas and what if any changes could you be making soon to make for either better yardages or better gapping?

My stock path is pretty constant. 2-3 from the inside. Push draw pattern. If the face comes in strong it can create a fair bit more carry as it’s essentially a pull draw with a jump in ball speed.
We’ve been working hard on a more passive release which is really helping. My low point is much further forwards and the swing is built around stabilising the face to avoid that long miss.
When I was fit for my current irons I was very much a greenkeepers dream - no divots. Now I trap and cover the ball more efficiently, there’s been a bit of recalibrating.
I ask about MOI and forgiveness as I feel my irons give me plenty of forgiveness on mishits. Is that same cushion level is available on something that won’t be so smoky on a pull? If the rhetoric about spin and accuracy is correct, it’s something I’d be interested in.
A pull is still a pull and will carry further. That is just the nature of that shot and flight characteristics. There will be clubs that are lesser, but could be equally penal in other areas as well. There is always some sort of trade-off.

Another not morning good morning!
Forum staff slack has been blowing up today. When I say these guys have ideas I mean it's a Rachel Thanksgiving cake of ideas. There is every thing in there.
Many are excellent and we are very excited to put some of these into action. Even if some sound a little weird or funny, we think it will all come together to make an excellent product.
There are some out there ideas - a suggestion of shirtless content came up - however in the end I really hope everyones reactions to the new content, ideas, features and projects are as follows.

Not 100% sure, but there is a push to drive traffic to the newer articles which makes sense as it is the most recent... anyway using their search function you can still find a go back to all the older results.

What greater (improved) dispersion pattern are you looking for? Left to right? Front to back?
I'm a big big fan of combo sets. Get the greater precision with scoring clubs and added forgives with longer irons.

The Kirkland irons for sure!!!!
I wish!
Due to stocking and such that would be a tough get! Thankfully we have some members with them already doing unofficial reviews.

As someone with an 8-year-old and 10-year-old who are getting into playing, I'd definitely be interested in seeing this.
We have actually done this before! Was several years ago, however we may have enough new member it could be worth another look.

Thoughts on Stix golf clubs
HQ is doing doing some stuff with them. I've reached out a couple times and am still awaiting a response. It is the holidays right now so don't expect responses till beginning of Jan.

They have a putting mirror that has good and mixed reviews I saw today, also complete grip sets starting at $18 for 10 grips.
One thing with the grips. Try to stick with lower priced name brands. Saplize is the main one. While not as great quality as the big names, they are better than the rip off brands.

How about a data comparison between like item winners from the last year 3 years for anything that is being evaluated. With the restrictiveness of the rules the windows for improvement seem to be closing to minimal gains. The most important thing for my game may be very different than what another player may be looking for. I may want the straightest ball, iron or driver and someone else may be looking for gear that will draw or fade more easily. We need to know if the new gear is better than what we could pick up cheap from the last year or more.
I would also like to see more japanese forged irons.
How about some boutique brands of putters, wedges and irons.
The first bit is more of an HQ thing vs forum testing. While it is slightly different year over year there are data points you can refernce to see where clubs improved etc. Tricky part I see with that is the different stock shaft options that come available each season and what fits who best.
Japanese - email out but zero responses. Not really surprised, but we continue to try.
Boutique brands - some emails out, most have responded with this isn't their niche and prefer other methods vs testing as it isn't always the performance vs aesthetic etc with them. -
A great range of suggestions and responses thank you!
Most of these companies we have reached out to in one form or another. Some are game, some not so much. However this is great to give us a little peak into what many members are interested to see come to testing one way or another!- ZJeb67, unccross, sirchunksalot and 3 others

We do everything we can to be as forthcoming and transparent to make everyone who really wants to be a tester easier.
It's not hard, but paying attention and actually reading versus just sign up and hope goes a long way.
