I'd be hard pressed to see Costco/Sam's Club carry clubs. In the last 20 years, I can only recall clubs in the warehouses twice: a TM 360(?) driver at Sam's a good 15+ years ago and an Odyssey putter a few years ago in Costco. Perhaps in the right store such as in FL, AZ, or CA where year round golf is expected.

The Costco's around the Seattle area carried Callaway clubs for a few years. they also had Adams several years ago..

Just checked and Callaway edge club set's are on their website right now. 10 pc set driver 3wd 1 hyb. and 6-SW with and odyssey putter.. $499.

  2. Two cars I wish I could have bought.. I had the chance to by a original numbers matching '69 Boss 302 with less than 30k on it factory 4 speed.. Real deal.. for 7k..oh yeah with an entire Boss 302 crate motor still in the crate, paperwork included from '69..  in '88 but at the time no one was going to give a 20 yr old 7k grand for a 19yr old mustang..

I also was offered a 67 T-bird 4 door (suicide doors rear), leather, SUNROOF, all power, with a wait for it wait for it.. 427 Super Cobra jet... It was the owner of the body shop my dad managed, it had layers of dust on it.. car had 40k mikes on it.. had been parked for 15yrs.. poured fresh gas in carb and charged battery it fired right up ran like a dream.. 3 grand.. but hell I was 17 and couldn't work out a deal.. Still wish I could have figured something out for either one..

  3. My dad was a body shop manager.. I ended up with a '75 mustang (not 1st car but 2nd), yes I know the Dumpy little ones.. But I put a 375hp 302 in it, Small and light.. Means quick and Fast. Cops didn't give me a second look... Nothing like 1000hp, but for a 17yr old kid it worked..

Remember when you could buy a muscle car in great shape for $1500.... AH the days... All my friends had mustangs, camaro's, el caminos.. heck we bought and sold cars like they were nothing..

I think I saw this on Instagram yesterday and looked at their website. Neat idea, and would be helpful when hitting into my net, but looked really thin without much padding.

I was thinking about getting some microfiber from the fabric store and making my own for like $5.. then as it where's out make a new one.. worst case I realize the home made one won't last and I break down and buy 1.

  5. @tony@CIC, I am Thinking about it.. or just try to make one myself.. I thought about just going to the fabric store and getting a piece of microfiber like what is on my sectional.. and seeing how it holds up.. Heck I can spray paint a ball and lines and be out what $5?? But yes I am thinking about it or something like it.. I have a 10x10x10 hitting net/cage I am going to put up.. I thought this would be perfect for that. And build a 2x4 platform for the mat so it is not just sitting in water or on the grass...

@M. Parsons, look further they have two an indoor (hard surface) and an outdoor..

Hello all from Lynnwood, WA and current lock down purgatory.  Just joined the forum.

By way of introduction, I've been playing golf for about 20 years now.  Picked it up seriously senior year in college.  I mostly play at Harbour Pointe where I am an active member of the men's club, but I try to play other courses around the greater Seattle area.  I play at least once every two weeks during the off-season, but once a week at least in season.  I would play more if my better half would let me.

This stay at home order is killing me - i rarely go a week without going to the range at least once.  Thankfully I was able to get in 36 at HP Saturday before the order came down!

I love the work My Golf Spy does so I figured it was time to join the forum, and also have a chance at testing the T100s*.  I've been curious about them since they were released.  My friend has the T100, and they look awesome, albeit a little intimidating compared to the size of my Apex 19s.  I considered trying the T100, but i know i would be frustrated by what I'm sure would be some distance loss since the lofts on the Apex are a tad stronger.

Hope all are well and staying as sane as possible during this crazy time!

Welcome to the forum. I'm Dave and I'm from Monroe..

My muni course and The Club at Black Rock were designed by the same architect JJ Engh.  However, that is the only thing that's the same!!!

I would love to play Black rock I heard it's gorgeous, and better than Coeur D' Alene resort, oh yeah and Private. Elway is a member, He used to be a regular at Coeur D' Alene. but then bought into Black rock..

  8. Played Sat. got out with the Mrs. and grandkids. Holy cow I played like crap on the front, lost 2 balls both I would have found if I wasn't herding cats... trying to keep track of 4 balls when a long shot was usually less then 100yds.. and plugged and sanded greens, BUT had a great time.. the Back 9 was much better even with the sanded greens. Went 47/43, not counting 2 lost balls that I'm pretty sure I just walked past while looking for kids balls.. so a 90 on plugged and sanded greens for the 1st round of the year.. I'm ok with that..
