BigtazzGolf
So after reviewing the Odyssey putter reviews I was motivated to put the ole Metal X back in action. And yup you guessed it. Started dropping putts like a pro. Saturday I don't think I missed any inside 8 ft. How this game drives me nuts. How often do you switch putters during the season? STUDque
This is the first year in a while I've swapped back and forth with my putter. I don't have much of a bullpen and I like it that way. I don't like to question myself on the course like "dang it! X putter would've made that one." I try my best to keep one constant and count on it for better or for worse. cnosil
Pretty much used the same putter for the last 5 years. I have swapped it out a couple of times, but keep putting it back in the bag. Still looking for something better, I have ideas on what I want, but haven't found it yet. Canucklehead
None. I make sure to get rid of my old one when I get a new one so I'm not stuck between putters. Kor.A.Door
One of the guys that plays with us on Saturdays used to play college golf, and his coach used to tell him that the only club you never ever get rid of is a putter. I don't switch to often, but every once in a while I'll put an old one in the bag, maybe it will work for a few rounds. yungkory
I went through 3 so far this year, 4 if you count the 2nd ER7, went down an inch. Right now the 33" Scotty is doing well for me, I think I line up better with a blade, all of the mallets were either exactly on line, or way off there was barely any in-between. Rickp
I probably have a dozen or so Putters in the rack. Sold 4 last week and bought my first non-blade putter, Odyssey Oworks. Only played one round with it and hitting the line OK but having distance problems that I don't have with the blade. We will see if it ends up in the rack. sreed21
I bought a new putter in May - but I've only owned 3 putters in 53 years. So I guess I change putters very infrequently, in my case it would be “how many times in a decade...†When I have trouble putting, I conclude it's a problem with the operator. I still have my first two putters, but I've never put either back in the bag. I don't understand why people think it's the equipment. It's 99% user error. Just some hacks looking for a reason to not blame themselves Sent from my iPhone using MyGolfSpy
