Oh boy,  hit a couple of "hozzle rockets" yesterday.  What a scary shot.  Ended the round with taking an extra club and just punching the ball.

 

Off to the range today to see if I can find the clubface.   :wacko:  :angry:  :unsure:

A short story... that happened to me while playing in AZ one year on the first hole... twice!!  Then again on the second hole!!  I played the rest of the round with driver, hybrid and putter.  Actually played pretty well starting with the third hole.

Sorry to read this.Asked my pro for some feedback on why shanks happen.He told me it is one of the hardest shots to diagnosis.It could be massive inside out- or outside in - bad setup - flipping etc etc.Thank goodness I haven't been plagued by this yet
