DPattGolf
I just finished this project in time before we started getting some bad weather here and before things started to get shutdown. I still have a couple more things still to do before it reaches its final form but so far I’m really happy with how it has turned out. The putting surface is a 12’x4’ Birdie Ball Mat places on top of a 4” thick platform. Eventually I will be cutting holes in the platform to install full size cups and adding self leveling feet to the platform. The idea is to eventually be able to adjust the base to replicate different breaks so that I can get more practice using Aimpoint and be able to have a space to still teach students during the bad weather months. * Staff PGA Professional* Driver: Qi10 LS (7.5*) - Tensei 1K White 60TX 3 Wood: Qi10 Tour (13.5*) - Kai'li White 90X Driving Iron: P790 UDI 2 iron - Accra i110 4 Iron: P790 (3iron Head weak to 4iron loft) - KBS C-Taper 130 X Irons (5-7) P7MC - KBS C-Taper 130 X Irons (8-P) P7MB - KBS C-Taper 130 X Gap Wedge: MG4 Black 50.09 - KBS C-Taper 130 X Sand Wedge: MG4 Black 55.11 - KBS C-Taper 130 X 60* Wedge: High Toe 3 - KBS C-Taper 130 X Putter: Custom Center Shaft Spider GTX - 33" Bag: Tour Stand Bag Glove: Tour Preferred Glove Ball: TP5X MySymbol RangeFinder: NX10 Instagram: @dpattgolf
StrokerAce
Looks great! I was toying with the idea of adding some small but strategically placed shims to simulate a break. WaffleHouseTour
Gotta ask, after a month of use, are you still happy with the birdie ball turf? I’ve been looking at a couple different options for my own DIY, and birdie ball is one of two turfs I’m considering.
