MickeyGreenEyes 14
I didn't get to see them play each other on PPV, but wouldn't it be good to watch them play now, live on TV! With the right precautions it would be worth watching. Mike Quote Mike McLellan I was once given a tip to take 5 strokes off my game, it was called an "Eraser".
cnosil 14,594
The PPV event was pretty boring and having a rematch wouldn't be of any interest to me. 2 Quote Driver: G400 Max 9* w/ KBS Tour Driven Fairway: TS3 15* set to 16.5* w/Project X Hzardous Smoke Hybrids: 816H1 19* set at 18* w/KBS Tour Graphite Hybrid Prototype 915H 21* w/KBS Tour Graphite Hybrid Prototype 915H 24* w/KBS Tour Graphite Hybrid Prototype Irons: TR20V 6-11 w/Vizard TR20-85 Graphite Wedge: 588 54-14, 58-12 Putter: Ten S Backups: 6330, ER2.2, Member: MGS Hitsquad since 2017

LeftyHawk 518
I saw parts of their previous meeting, quite boring... These guys were about like watching cement set. I have been watching the old Shell's wonderful world of golf on YouTube, some great match ups from days gone by. MickeyGreenEyes 14
Funny, but as opposed to nothing I still think it would have some value. Maybe it would be better to watch some of the more interesting folks like Reed and Tiger? Mike Quote Mike McLellan I was once given a tip to take 5 strokes off my game, it was called an "Eraser". palvord 3,538
I think the best way for it to be done is with filming it and then editing out all the non-golf shot stuff unless it's a conversation with a caddie or trash talk. That way no one can claim it's boring. It's like watching a golf vlog on YouTube. No one posts a vlog that includes them walking or driving to the next shot, every single time. Green Sheep Productions 95
I would hope for the next 'The Match' it would be a fourball match play, or fourball ambrose, listen in on the strategies. It was much better with the Japanese skins game, watching greats go for high risk shots. Who would you pair with Tiger and Phil? I'd be looking DeChambeau and... Bubba. Mayhem on the Phil/ Watson side! Bob M 24
These two guys were two of the best, but now they are just some of the rest. Let’s leave them where they both belong- especially Phil, in the history books with the other greats. There are so many exciting young guns that would be better TV Edited May 9, 2020 by Bob M

Bob M 24
Tiger still has his days, he is probably the best ever, but he is not what he once was. And these “Tiger vs Phil” just aren’t what they are hyped to be. I’d rather see Rory vs Brooks or even Tiger vs Brooks

Bob M 24
both Phil and a Tiger can still win any day - just Like so many players on the tour, I don’t think either Phil or (even) Tiger has it in them any more to be in the chase week after week, like they were for so long in the prime of their career. And now there are a new group of elite pros that fit that bill, especially Brooks, Rory, Dustin, Raymond, DeChambeau and a couple others I’m sure I missed.

aerospace_ray 570
I love both guys games but the problem for me is their personalities imo don't make for good matchup if one of the two is off with their game. IF both could be on fire at the same time, it might be interesting for me. IF its on tv like the PPV, then there needs to be some personality involved and the players need their "A" games. Think of Trevino, hitting all those shots he use to pull off, that type personality/golf would be funny and entertaining -- made for tv. One interesting concept I wish would happen is Tiger and Phil play that Par 3 course that the Champions Tour plays. That could be fun.
