This transition could bring about changes in how handicaps are calculated and managed within The Grint app. Quote Link to comment
Golf2Much
The World Handicap System (WHS) was established in the beginning of 2020 to unify six different handicap systems from around the world. The WHS is jointly governed worldwide by the USGA (GHIN) and The R&A and encompasses both the Rules of Handicapping and the Course Rating System™ (formerly the USGA Course Rating System). So GHIN and The R&A jointly developed and govern the same standards for calculating handicap indexes for the last three years. Brett in Yorktown The Grint is a popular golf app that provides golfers with various features, including score tracking, GPS assistance, and handicap calculation using the GHIN system. However, if there are changes coming, it is possible that The Grint might be transitioning to utilize the GHAP system, which is part of the broader adoption of the WHS.
