Ball Plant #3

GCSAA Supt

Recommended Posts

Great tour of the Titileist golf ball manufacturing process this morning at Ball plant #3.  They took us through the entire process from the raw material to the final xray and inspection.  Over 90 quality control checks on the Pro V1.

The new AVX is also being manufactured there but they really didn't give us much information about it, other than it is going to be on the shelves nationwide for 2018.

I'll probably still complain about the high price of balls but I certainly have a better understanding of what goes into that little white orb that we chase around.

That's awesome you got to see how they make their golf balls in person!
