Here’s a weird try swing

Let's say you swing a golf shaft with your right hand trying to get that whip sound at and beyond the imaginary ball. Easy right? Now try with the left. It's easy too. The problem is when you put both on the shaft and suddenly that nice little whip sound goes from a swoosh to a dull blur. Noticeably slower.

 

That's what I'm pondering on tonight.

I would imagine there's more flipping action going on when just using one hand. Think that might be the case?

I'm playing with everything including grip and so far grip actually does affect it. I'm guessing you are right kinda. Maybe not flipping but just freedom maybe.

Try neutral grip vs super strong grip. For me strong grip is way faster. Stance or backswing doesn't seem to Matter so far

Means nothing without a real ball

Used a fake ball. Swing speed was the same. Gonna use a “real” ball maybe never for swinging a shaft with no club head.
