Peejer
Several years ago, the Golf Channel held a contest for inventions related to golf. I think it was something "Fore Golf Inventors". Anyhow, the big winner was a product called "The Club Caddy". The Club Caddy clipped on to the bottom of your club, to hold your clubs upright when around wet greens (especially early in the morning) and kept your grips from getting wet. GolfSmith carried it and I bought one. Well, several weeks ago - I lost mine. I've been searching in vain for a replacement. Anyone know where one can be found?!? I've tried all the usual circuits to include eBay and Google. To give you some idea - here's what it looks like: Any one know where to get one?? Thanks, -- P.J. MattF
I looked...ebay, amazon etc, couldn't find anything. The only stuff I saw were the "stick" type club holders. Canucklehead
A lot of company's ball mark tools have a concave cut in the top of them, or split like the ones MattF posted. That's a cool idea though for whoever created it Sent from my E6853 using MyGolfSpy mobile app Peejer and MattF

Peejer
I've never seen this before. I suppose I could carry it around in my pocket along with my protractor. Cool idea. This time of year in Florida, you have to play early in the morning - which means humidity and wet grass. If you miss the green and carry more than one club as you approach - it sure is nice to have something like this. Yes, you could use a towel, but even those get pretty wet quickly. I'm glad a suitable substitute was found! Don't forget to bring a compass as well! This version is kind of bulky, but it does what you want with keeping the club handles dry and it is sturdy enough that if you lay the club horizontal, you can stack more clubs on top of it. Peejer
I looked...ebay, amazon etc, couldn't find anything. The only stuff I saw were the "stick" type club holders. I've used this one for years and it works fine: https://www.markmender.com/ I also picked up one of these for $5.99 each (+shipping). I was looking for something a little smaller to rest my clubs on when the grass is still wet. In short - the green repair tool is gold!! I used it for the first time today and wow, was I impressed. You spread the forks on both sides of the ball mark and squeeze it. It does a fantastic job of repairing the mark! Bonus is it keeps my grips dry too. Thanks for the link! -- P.J. Peejer
Just a follow-up....I also found a similar product to the "Club Caddy", it's called the "Handy Standy". It was originally available at www.handystandy.com from a company in England/Wales. There's a link to order it from Amazon, but it says 'out of stock'. Looks like this site may have gone dormant, but I was lucky enough to find one on eBay. -- P.J. Lagerman
I have a close resemblance to "The Club Caddy. I designed and made for friends and myself. Folds and stores similar to " The Club Caddy" and has a wider, beefier footprint. Used mine for 2yrs now with no problems. I'm only capable of making 10 to 12 a day right now. Have not marketed yet. Trying to see what kind of response. See pictures. My grass is 3.5 to 4 inches long and has no problem standing up on flat part or my hill (30 to 45 degrees) with grip facing uphill or downhill without having to reposition. Thinking of $15 + shipping. Would like to know opinions or interest. Pass around. Thanks. Ray. MattF

Tom the Golf Nut
I made a disc out of a harder density foam that is still flexible. It snaps on the club shaft and keeps the grip off the ground. Its 4-1/4 diameter. After getting back to the cart it fits in my back pocket. My kids got I pads a while back and the foam was protecting the screens during shipping. Lagerman
Update to my earlier post. The one I've developed is similar to the Club Caddy. It comes with a Bag Clip, Carabiner, and Velcro Strap for storing in your bag. With your clubs standing upright, your chances of forgetting your clubs are lessened. Go to theclubpin.com and check it out.
