dlow206
Currently looking for potential mobility routines. Already have a strength routine that I am doing that has some mobility exercises, but also looking for some standalone mobility routines as well. STUDque
Please allow me to preach the good word of Yoga. I did a 21-day program that slowly walks you through the poses and teaches them a little bit at a time...made a huge difference. Now I feel great! In addition to flexibility and mobility, Yoga is really good for building core and small muscle (stability) strength. This is coming from someone who always struggled with flexibility and core strength. bens197, Shankster and dlow206 3 Quote In my Pisa, riding on a 3.5+ G410+ EXS 5W King F7 Hy i500 5-GW Equalizer 56/60 Heppler Ketsch

alfriday101
1. Yoga. 2. The Alexander Technique. The Alexander Technique is a way to analyze your everyday movements to become more aware of those movements. Once aware of movements that you are doing unconsciously, it has techniques to help change those moves. It works well with Yoga; by changing the movements that contribute to tightness, you become less tense and the stretch from each yoga session last longer. Fullsendglf
Cant argue with yoga and regular stretching. I maintain my mobility and increase my range of motion by stretching every morning before I shower and whenever I golf i stretch and do a small dynamic warm up. The key is identifying where your weaknesses are and working at it. tony@CIC 1 Quote M5 7.5Deg UST Proforce V2 tipped 1" strong 70g X M5 Rocket 3 14deg UST Proforce V2 70g X GaparLo 2 17deg KBS Tour Hybrid Prototype 95g X 4-iron Titleist T-MB Project X 6.5 5-Pw Taylormade P7TW Project X 6.5 52 Slate Blue Vokey SM7 Project X 6.5 56 Jet Black Vokey SM7 Project X 6.0 60 HiToe Mill Grind Project X 6.

tony@CIC
The best routines and ones I especially use before a morning round are a series of yoga stretches. Never thought I'd be saying that but they do work. Lots of different you tubers but I tend to gravitate to Katherine Roberts since she's focused on golf stretches. I was shocked once when I showed it to a lady I worked with - she is a fitness instructor also. She told me, "that's yoga!" Ok.. I do yoga I guess. 8802sAndHeartbreak
I've began doing yoga from Youtube videos. I also am starting to stretch more and bought some resistance bands. There is so much good content on Youtube and once I find a person or product I enjoy I'll support them by buying their paid content/products. tony@CIC
Hotdocta
Yoga is definitely great. The key for pre round mobility is a good warm up. Do something that gets the heart pumping. Jumping jacks, jog, bike etc. Do enough that by the end of it you are starting to break a sweat and your heart rate starts going up. Watch any pro athlete, before they play they are essentially working out and keeping their body moving. Do not to anything to strenuous, like said just get the heart rate up. Then, as everyone else has stated, yoga, as a regular practice, will keep your flexibility up. In fact when I use to do lots of yoga golf was effortless. I was carrying 6 iron 200 with standard old school lofts. Just remember for right before, do the proper warm up and get your body to loosen up.
