WaffleHouseTour
FS Golf and Apple Watch connection problems - I'm going to answer my own question above - I emailed customer support and they looked into it, found/confirmed a problem responded "our developers have fixed it. It will be released with the next app update." No idea when that will be but fingers crossed it is soon. edingc 1 Quote Walking ahead of my BagBoy QuadXL w Alphard eWheels Driver: Callaway Mavrik SubZero 9* Neutral w stock Evenflow Riptide R flex shaft 3W Titelist TS2 15* Draw w Tensei Blue R flex 3H, 4H Cobra One Length F9 Speedback hybrids (1”short) w Fujikura Atmos R flex shaft 5I-GW Cobra Forged TEC Black One Length (1”short, 2* flat) KBS 90 R flex shafts 56, 60 Cobra King MIM One Length Black (1” short) KBS HiRev2.0 125 S flex shafts ER7 or Scotty Futura X - 35” OnCore Elixr (lemon or lime)
WaffleHouseTour
A) Apple Watch connection was fixed with latest update. Yay. I just wish they had a "wake radar" button on there... B) Reason for post - anyone else struggle with aiming their Mevo+? Originally the directions said to aim with the camera, now the guidance is aim from the middle - but because the camera is on the left it always seems a little off kilter. Especially when the ball origin screen shows the ball to the left of where I have it placed if I'm aiming from the middle of the device... What do you all do - aim with camera? Or line up so the target is in line with the center of the device? edingc 1 Quote Walking ahead of my BagBoy QuadXL w Alphard eWheels Driver: Callaway Mavrik SubZero 9* Neutral w stock Evenflow Riptide R flex shaft 3W Titelist TS2 15* Draw w Tensei Blue R flex 3H, 4H Cobra One Length F9 Speedback hybrids (1”short) w Fujikura Atmos R flex shaft 5I-GW Cobra Forged TEC Black One Length (1”short, 2* flat) KBS 90 R flex shafts 56, 60 Cobra King MIM One Length Black (1” short) KBS HiRev2.0 125 S flex shafts ER7 or Scotty Futura X - 35” OnCore Elixr (lemon or lime)

I'll have to bring it out again soon. there are a couple other forums out there where this is discussed and debated - so I'm comparing notes. The argument is to ignore the vertical red line; line up based on the center of the Mevo through your ball to your target. The image of the white ball on a red mat should correspond - but the vertical red line will be off, so ignore it. Which makes you wonder why have the vertical red line. There is another thread that goes through the science of parallax and why its off... but I'm not going there. I think it is a wonderful device - but it sure would be nice if Flightscope actually published some instructions and "how to" documents. I get that much of it is intuitive, but since people are buying this for accuracy it sure would build some confidence. Thats also a theme on other discussion boards. Nick Vavoudis
I have a SkyTrak and want to note that an IPad does not have the power to connect to a projector over a 25’ HDMI cable, so you’ll have to have the power of a laptop if you’re using a studio/curtain to project the flight path image. So while the Mevo+ Is obviously more portable (inside/outside), if you’re using screen projection, you're gonna want to stay with the SkyTrak . I’m a HS golf coach and we set this up at the local golf course for the local youngsters to use for free. Is this the new thing that just came out at the PGA? Or is this the same equipment but with new software? Either way - wow. Does it work into a net, or do you need RCT balls? G0al3d
It works into a net and also works at the range (unlimited flight but it doesn't track it all the way), its recommended to use the RCT balls into a net (or put the metallic dots on). The hardware is the same the new MEVO+ for 2023 has a bigger battery and a different stand otherwise the hardware is the same the Pro package and face impact are all just software updates. GolfSpy MPR
Did some (limited) practice with the Pro Package and the new Face Impact feature today. The Face Impact is incredibly impressive, especially with irons and wedges. With those, there were no obvious "well, that was wrong!" readings. Kirke was objecting to some of the readings with his driver (I can't swing driver in our garage); when it's warmer (it was literally freezing in there this afternoon), we'll go out with the foot spray and do some calibration on the driver. Obviously, there are much cheaper ways of knowing where you hit it on the face. But having that information available this way is really convenient, and I'm definitely going to be incorporating it into my practice.
