Hacker1
Did Brooks do a quick turnaround to LIV because he did so poorly (very close to last place at the US Open), was he offered huge money (how much), did he lose confidence in himself realizing he will not be a good as he used to be, lots of injures that don't go away, wants to just cash in, play less, play with his brother, still play majors, seems to be only golf he cares about. NM01
Brooks doesn’t like playing golf. He said he gets bored before the round ends. LIV gives him more money for less time on the course. It’s a win win for him. He won the waste management last year and has several top 10s the last year. It’s not like he’s playing bad. In the same realm you could ask if Bryson did the same as well as several others. Brooks like DJ weren’t going to play the champions tour. Brooks can make a bunch of money in the next 3-4 years from LIV and retire in his mid 30s without any worries and can just disappear. Quigleyd
Brooks's best days are behind him. Injury, age, and a hot run that is over means if he was currently on the PGA tour he wouldnt be relevant for much longer. So he may as well jump ship. He has become about as big if a tool as Reed. I was a big fan for a few years, then he decided that he wanted pretend that he was super cool. satcomm302 and JerBooth 2 Quote Driver: Callaway Paradym Triple diamond 10.5 Ventus black TR 6x 3 wood ; Callaway Paradym triple diamond 15 degree, Ventus black TR 7x Apex UW 19 degree, Ventus black TR 8x Utility Iron: Mizuno Pro Fli Hi 4 utility, Ventus blue HB 90X Irons: Callaway Apex MB 5-PW, KBS $ taper 130x Wedges: Callaway Jaws Raw 50, 54, 58, KBS $ taper 130x Putter: Wilson Staff TM22, hand torched, KBS cutter putter shaft, Super stroke Pistol GT 1.
Golf2Much
Brooks who (sarcasm of course)? It is interesting that the longer LIV players are gone, the less you think about or miss them. Maybe in another year we can play "LIV or No LIV" with professional golfers' names. Being somewhat out of sight and out of mind may ultimately play a role in LIV's downfall. satcomm302 1 Quote Ping G430 Max driver 10.5 degrees with an Alta Quick45 gram senior shaft Callaway Epic 3 wood, Project X Evenflow Green 45 gram senior shaft Callaway GBB Epic Heavenwood, with a Mitsubishi Diamana 50 gram senior shaft Ping G 20.5 degree 7 wood, with a stock Alta 65 gram senior shaft Ping G 26 degree hybrid, stock Alta 65 gram senior shaft Callaway Paradym X irons, 7-AW with Aldila Ascent Blue 50 graphite shafts Edison wedges: 50, 55 and 60 degree, KBS Tour Graphite A flex shafts Putters: L.A.B.
