tider
I've always been a fan of Bridgestone Golf. I've owned a few of their stuff from time to time. Has anyone seen what they have coming for next year? You don't really see that much out of them. Thanks in advance. MGoBlue100
GolfSpy TCB
I haven't heard anything.. yet.. but your post gives me an opportunity to walk back down memory lane. My favorite balls of all time were the Bridgestone Rextar Balata 100's. And my first "real" driver was the Bridgestone Whopper. Man what an ugly green that club was... but I loved it and hit it well!. MGoBlue100
I also am a big Bridgestone fan (see below; I've got a lot of their clubs in play...) and am curious what's next. RickyBobby_PR
Bridgestone has a pretty good understanding of the market and what it costs. Retail space in places Ike golf galaxy, dsg, pga superstore costs money. Due to lack of interest in the US for Bridgestone clubs they don’t do many US releases. They have a much larger audience overseas especially in the Asian market so they focus on designing and releasing their equipment there TR1PTIK 1 Quote Driver: PXG 0811 X+ Proto w/UST Helium 5F4 Wood: TaylorMade M5 5W w/Accra TZ5 +1/2”, TaylorMade Sim 3W w/Aldila rogue white Hybrid: PXG Gen2 22* w/AD hybrid Irons: PXG Gen3 0311T w/Nippon modus 120 Wedges: TaylorMade MG2 50*, Tiger grind 56/60 Putter: Scotty Caemeron Super Rat1 Ball: Titleist Prov1
vandyland
TourSpec golf always has a lot of the JDM stuff. If you go on there you can see a ton of Bridgestone stuff (albeit with a bit of a shipping markup), The 222CB+ looks good but also not dramatically different from what I can get here in the form of a New Level 902, Wilson D9, [insert other player's cavity with tungsten] KOG and TR1PTIK 2 Quote STZ 230 9.5* PinHawk SLF 16* STZ 230 Hybrid 21.25* MALTBY TS1-IM 5-GW Equalizer II 54* Glide 4.0 (S) 58* L.A.B. JonathanJones
I guess they made some improvements on the balls. E9 are coming soft and the E6 cores improved for slower swing speeds Landy 1 Quote SFT. SEE IT. FEEL IT. TRUST IT.
TR1PTIK
The irons posted above are all the current models. Bridgestone just isn't doing new releases in the US anymore outside of GI/SGI clubs, but as mentioned above you can get the new stuff from Tour Spec or look on eBay. Fred Mitchell
Love be some Bridgestone RXS golf balls. I have a slower swing speed and they may be 2-3 yards shorter than the Pr0V1X off the driver but they are 6-8 yards longer off the irons, fly higher and descend steeper than the ProV1X. When you add up MAYBE 14 drives per round x3 yards thats 42 yards , its only gonna take 3 holes or so worth of irons to make those yards up. JudgeSmails
Their clubs always intrigued me, but noone carries them so I couldn't test them out...guess i see from the posts above why I'm a fan of the BXS ball, been playing it several years, but have thought about switching to Srixon ZStar based on price and some of the MGS testing showing the BStones to not be on the same level as far as quality goes Quote Driver: TR20 10.5* Hybrids: Epic SuperHybrid 3 18* Epic 4h 23* Irons: JPX900 Hot Metal 5-GW Wedges: CBX2 52* 56* 60* Putter: EV8 Ball: Tour BXS
