@Golf2Much

As I posted on the weekly thread, I was able to get out and play a round to day, and that round is for FEASTMODE!!!

I shot 38/37 for a 75 with a course handicap of 3 = net 72 (even par).  I had 4 natural birdies and 2 net birdies, my closest to the pin was 5' 8" (best estimate, but not close enough compared to the other KP's posted), and my longest drive was 245 yards.  🙂

Considering I'm in the waiting room of my urologist about to get snipped, how about "Snick-n-Snip"? (I'll post score later tonight - six pars on the back, but a couple of blow-up holes killed my round. So happy to be out in the sun, though, and these new Maltby's are absolutely ridiculous. Played this morning as part of FEAST MODE.   It was a very pedestrian round.  I shot 85 as a 13 handicap today which is 15 over gross and +2 net.  I had five net birdies and didn't hit a par 3 in regulation.

Just as a warning, I likely will not be in any shape to fill in the spreadsheet later today.  In about an hour we start our annual St. Patrick's Day bar stroll here in Key West.    Some friends decided several years ago to forego the tee shirt and questionable drinks at each stop and do it in reverse buying the drinks of our choice.  It never disappoints.  Just as a reference point, three years ago we ended up at the Green Parrot Bar (for those who are familiar with it).  We called an Uber like those who have been overserved should do.  Up pulls up the make, model and color of our Uber.  The four of us (left) pile in, buckle up and tell the driver we're ready.  He looks at me and said "what are you doing in my car?"  I asked if he was an Uber and responded no, he was just here to pick up some food.   Twenty seconds later, here comes the same car in the same color Uber.

Wish me luck and I'll update everything Sunday morning!

Okay, so here we go.  Definitely would've been a much nicer day score-wise without the two blow-up holes (9,10), but overall, a really, really fun round with lots of good shots (especially with the 6/9 irons I'm testing), and some good putts that JUST missed making this even better.

Course: Vista Valencia Golf Club

Par: 61

Tees played: Blue ("tips," if we're being fancy, lol)

Course Handicap: 11

Gross: 76 (+15)

Net: 65 (+4)

Net Birdies: 5

Long Drive: 252

Closest to pin: 16 ft (missed birdie putt, thanks)

Only 1 three-putt on the day, and that was from the very back of a long green that I lagged well (distance-wise), had about 5 feet to save par and left it high and lipped it.  Oh well.  Hit my irons SO well, overall.  My buddy and I played with a couple of guys that are easily some of the most-fun dudes we've ever played with, and it was sunny and warm, so overall, a fantastic day.

@snicerz I wish I could say I had more to contribute, but 7 pars on the back 9 made the day end on a high note (especially given the disaster 9/10 combo, where I lost 7 shots over two holes). (scorecard below - highlighted holes are ones where I "birdie" thanks to handicap.

Here's my round for team Snick-n-Snip. 70 gross w/ 0 hcp and -1 net. 3 birdies (back to back on #3 for those paying attention) and long drive was 288. Closest to the pin was #13 at 3 feet. Beautiful shot and somehow held on. I always have trouble holding that green but today I managed to do it. Mine is the yellow ball, playing partner’s putt photo bombed my pic. 😂

I'll grab that opportunity, since idk if my partner Mr. Mushball got his round in, and his previous was on a course he wasn't going to count.

I have one, but it's probably not as good as Connor's.  I acutally played three rounds this week, but two of them were very under performed.  Please take the better score.  Team "Who Let the Dogs Out" could be kept in the kennel.  However, I did hit my best drive, got a 7 ft KP, and had 9 net birdies.

@Mr. Mushball No we are cool, mine was a net +1 so maybe Conner can get someone else and compete. I just was unsure if you played and it's ending and all.

I've got a round from today to pair with you.  Though we weren't playing the same course today, I think today's weather was perfect aside from a few sprinkles.  I don't think I have many markers to contribute, but it was the overall best round I had in the last 30 days.

I actually played three rounds and got better at each one.  My first was atrocious.  The second was still a very negligent +20, but had some good other stats.  The one that I played today I'd give to @JFish350.  Not so many side stats, but got me in at more like +11.   Still pretty stinky.  Either of you let me know if you still want my cards.

My score is posted early on in the thread. I actually have others to post that are similar to your 2nd so both teams can live on.

@Connorn2 did you want my +1 w/ 6 net birdies to pair with or did someone else come through?
