Interested yes, I am playing my first round since Thanksgiving on March 19th. The fun part other than it's golf is its at Pumpkin Ridge Ghost creek. If I break a 100 I don't think I'll feel to terrible.

I think I'm going to be able to squeeze a round in, but it's at a par-61 course - does that affect anything? If that's not going to work, no problem - I'll sit this one out.

Hey Tony,

Great point now that you mention it... I guess we really don't need the hole by hole since we are counting both balls (I am just so used to the best ball format...). But we will need the gross and net score compared to par, as that is how we will level the playing field for all the ranges of total pars for various courses (70, 71, 72, for example). You can still post the hole by hole if you want to of course. Also you will need to track the hole handicaps to see where you score your net birdies, but you are just posting a number for that.

Hope that makes sense. If you post your gross and net score to par (for example, on a par 72 course, and your course handicap is a 10, and you shoot 81.... your gross score to par is +9 and your net score to par is -1... then we would add that to your partners post to get your team score). Net Birdies is a team aggregate total, so the number of net birdies or better for each of you added together. KP and LD are pretty explanatory.

Hey GS_Sam, as long as you have a handicap index that can be applied to the course slope and rating to get a course handicap... you will still be posting a score to par (see my note describing that to Tony above) so it should make it all even on the net side. Let me know if you have any questions.

Hey David, I absolutely would LOVE to partner up again... but I have had a family emergency that may keep me from the golf course over the next two weeks. I should know more over the next several days, and I'll reach out to see if you still have an open round if I can play, but if someone else snaps you up... that is definitely my loss.

I'll play a round as your partner anytime! Unfortunately, I'm not sure I'll be golfing quite yet... I guess I'll have to take a look at the extended weather!

Looks like we are in the same category at this point waiting for weather to improve to bring outdoor golf back for 2023.
