I have a formula that will automatically update the number of times each golfer has been selected and tally it over on the "Golfers" sheet. Clear out everything under the "Number of Times Selected" header and paste the following formula in cell B2:

=COUNTIF(Events!$C$2:$G,A2)

You can then just drag that column all the way down so it applies the formula to each golfer. There are also some additional settings you can change so it will adjust the cell color based on the number of times they've been selected ( Yellow = 4-5, Orange = 6-7, Red = 8 ).

Conditional formatting for the win! Great addition.

True. But it helps when trying to really feel out and plan out tournaments 2-3 months in advance.

Exactly! I wanted to make sure I’ve already set aside certain players for certain weeks. Unfortunately I can’t pick Scottie or Viktor each week!

@Crossroads Golf - the above is not technically true.  You are NOT too late to join - see info pinned at the top of the page as to how to enter (info into the Run Your Pool website, and then a Venmo to me for the $2 entry), and you have until tomorrow night (Wednesday, 1/17) 9pm PST to submit an entry and get paid up.  We'll close entry after that, as I won't be able to verify anyone after that and tee times start too early to adjust on Thursday.  However, if you join - you always have until the first tee time to make your picks.  

Let me know if you need my Venmo info - send me a quick PM and I can get it to you ASAP

Allllllllll right, folks!  It's 11:40, the Pool is set (68 players all said and done) and locked and paid for, so get those picks in.  Be sure to select "email picks reminder" in your settings so you don't forget

Picks are in and looking forward to another year of finishing juuuuuuust close enough to the top to allow myself to believe I can actually win!

Made my picks on Monday and now remembering I need to second and then third guess my choices by over analyzing where everyone finished last year but then remembering that Rahm isn’t in the field and wondering how that will impact everyone else in the field. Putting the abacus away for now and trusting the hand calculations I’ve made so far. I hope everyone enjoys taking my money. It’s a gift I have with office pools and fantasy sports.

Nothing better than second guessing picks and then watching the players you replaced finish at the top of the leaderboard on Sunday. It truly is the best feeling in fantasy....

ESPN+ has good coverage on days 1&2 for a lot of tournaments but the announcer quality is poor IMO. I’ll be watching Min Woo Lee’s group starting at 11:45.
