Erin B
1 hour ago, Rob Person said: Have an epic trip! Final Review for the Stix Perform series clubs is up! Today was not a good day, then it was. Woke up to no water. After 2 hours of meter testing, line pressure check from the neighbors hose, and chasing water lines unde the house, it ended up being the well controller and capacitor. Nobody local had a capacitor or control unit in stock which would have cost me about $45, so I had to eat $140 for whole new box complete setup. Hour after that I had water. Then I installed my hitch, which required removing the bumper, which attaches to an identical cross member, minus the reciever. That took 3 hours, even with impact tools. Then I jumped on the CC with Vice's James and Alexander, which was great! I was finishing up the wiring while on the call. I feel ya with house stuff. I was plugging in our mini popcorn maker and felt the outlet. It was hot! I mean almost melting hot! I took it out and found the neutral wires were burnt. I believe the ground inside the outlet had deteriorated and crossed with the neutral wires. The hot wires were fine. So I trimmed all the wires up and replaced the outlet. Don’t think it was doing this for too long. Used the outlet a couple weeks ago with no issues. The rest of the outlets on this line were all fine. Just glad I caught it. Good evening amigos!!! Erin B
Evening!!! Hope you all had a productive day. I did not. I laid around and did one thing only, the dishes. Nothing else. It was quite nice to be honest. We’re going to dinner with the daughter unit tonight and that’s the key highlight of my day. That and doing the dishes. Have a good evening! Preeway
Good evening everyone. Finally got a day to sleep in (that means 7:30) and relax before my 1:15 tee time. Got off to a good start and then the wind died and the humidity kicked into high gear on hole 7. Lost my focus a little and started making silly mistakes that cost me. Several three putts and two errant drives led to another 78. Ugh. The Velocore+ really shined though. Time to get some updates posted in the testing thread. rkj427
Good evening Spies on what is now a rainy Friday evening. Spent the better part of the day doing things around the house outdoors, such as trimming bushes, shrubs, and a couple small trees before the rain started. Tomorrow I will need to straighten up and re-organize my garage so I can get two cars back into it. Productive, and knocked a couple things off the honey-do list, so not a bad thing at all. May get time to get back to the range on Sunday, and looking forward to playing a couple rounds again next week. Erin B
For the love of Pete!!! My pride is a little hurt but I tied for first in my flight, lost in a playoff; so pretty much we all had a rough day. I had three penalties. That hurt the worst, and the two three putts. The greens keeper was angry today. Pin placement was out of control ! I have to pick myself up because I’m teeing off at 8:00 in the morning. This was my first go at this course so I guess that’s some saving grace. Good evening spies! rkj427
Good evening Spies from a warm and muggy Michigan. Storms and a lot of rain earlier today, but stopped raining early afternoon, and supposed to be much cooler and drier air the next couple days. Managed to get about 90% of the things I needed to do around the house and garage today, but also somehow managed to twist or lift incorrectly, and now dealing with lower back pain. Hoping a heating pad and firm mattress will alleviate it, as I would like to go to the range tomorrow. @Erin B hope that you improve putting and scores tomorrow. @Rob Person hope the power gets restored sooner than later, we had that issue a week or so ago and it never is any fun.
