Is anyone planning on playing during the eclipse? Make sure you get off the tee before you can't see your ball

I don’t think it’s as big a factor here as in other parts of the US. I do have the distinction of playing a joke during a hurricane once and also being fit in the outer bands of one at the tour performance center at TPC sawgrass - thanks MGS for setting that one up.

I really wanted to get a tee time and be on the course during the totality, but because of the influx of thousands from outside my area, folks are warned not to travel that day due to congested roads. My town will get about 98%, but just to the west, they will get 100%.

I'll have to look it up to see what sort of affect it may have here. I know my wife mentioned it but not much else.

I thinks mostly here in the US. No golf but travelling to a friends that will be in the path of totality, and closer to the middle. Should be pretty cool.
