That's always the best feeling, when they start to show interest. Whenever you're ready to get them some clubs, just tag us, and we can help you find exactly what you're looking for. Clubs that are too big or cutting down mens clubs for kids, makes finding success very slim for a child. Rob Person

When my son was playing PGA Jr, his pro was constantly loaning out appropriate clubs to kids who were handed a cut down men's set to use. He'd warn parents at the start of the season not to do that, as it basically turned the shafts into rebar for the young kids and made it so difficult for them to get the ball in the air, frustrating them to no end. Oh yeah, the golf pro was right. Children will continue to do something that they are good at, and handing them clubs that are massive or cutting down mens clubs, will be extremely detrimental, and the child will no longer want to play. It's like running a marathon in snow boots, how much success can you really have..? It's why we made it our mission to offer a variety of sets and single clubs for our customers, you can get a brand new set with us for around $139.99 and single clubs starting at $39.99. russtopherb and Rob Person
jared52
My son is 13 and has been playing for the last 4 years. One thing that has been universal in his development is having the right size and weight clubs. He's been wanting to switch to the set I have in waiting for him (PXG 0211) but he is just not quite tall enough or strong enough to play adult clubs. Prodigal Duffer
I've got a deal with my 11 year old - if he fulfills his practice obligations this summer, I will get him some new clubs. He's just over five feet tall, but most likely about to hit a growth spurt (I am 6'3, for whatever that's worth). @All Kids Golf Clubs, would there be an advantage to going with a set geared toward 60-68" (Tour X LZR) versus something geared toward 63-70" (like the Wilson SGI or Tour Edge Teen Bazooka)? I like that the higher range will last him longer, but the clubs might be too long for a year or so. Thanks. We never suggest buying a golf set for kids to grow into, as it'll lead to poor mechanics, lack of consistency, and the clubs will be too heavy. If your child is 60 inches right now and you will be buying his golf set during this summer, I think getting the Wilson SGI or the Tour Edge Bazooka for kids 63-70" would be okay, AS LONG as your child is about 62 inches tall come that time. To me, that is so close in proper height that it wouldn't hinder his success and will give him a few more inches of extra use down the road. So, yes I think that using the Wilson/Tour Edge set would be okay and would lead to success. Phenomenal choice by the way. russtopherb, Rob Person and Prodigal Duffer 2

I am happy to report that kiddo fulfilled his end of the deal, so he is getting new clubs. @All Kids Golf Clubs When looking at sets by height, does it matter if I measure him with shoes on?
