I felt the same way as you. It wasn’t until this year that I was selected as a tester for the Paradym irons that I changed my mind on Callaway. I also avoided Nike because of Tiger. Silly, yes. However, while stationed in San Diego, I attended the Farmers PGA event at Torrey Pines several times. I witnessed two events which led to my view on Phil and Tiger. One was Phil berating a volunteer in front of everyone. Plus, he always seemed very fake. The other was Tiger swearing at a father in front of his son. The dad had waited at the practice green after the round. When Tiger was done and leaving the green the dad asked for an autograph for his son on his birthday. Tiger instead of giving the autograph or declining politely, he just started swearing and berating the gentleman in front of his son. It was not the first time I witnessed Tiger be less than pleasant. So, while great golfers I never was a fan of either. 

Phil played another brand that slips my mind prior to Titleist, it came to me Yonex when turned pro , Phil lost my respect when he blindsided Watson in the Ryder cup press conference , felt he should have done that in private but when he called out the Tour for charging him a million dollar media rights deal to do a made for tv event then I saw the way the tour had been cheating their members for years especially if you aren’t a top 20 guy , I regained my respect for him . I personally like LIV since I can see all the players instead of the same 8 unless TW is playing then it’s him for 6 hours 

If I'm not mistaken, Callaway "froze" their partnership with Phil following his scary motherf***ers comments a while back. I don't think this is an announcement of an official split, just Phil saying he really likes the ball.

FYI for anyone else... if you know your way around reddit /r/golf theres a dude who works for CPO'd and will if you dm him cherry pick the **** out of stuff if you send him what you are looking for.  At least that was the case, assuming it still is.

I putted with the new 2025 TP5x last night.  It felt crazy soft off the putter face.  Seemed to roll well.

Just got back from a week trip to South Carolina. In addition to getting in some golf much earlier in the year than I'm used to, which was awesome, Kirke and I hit a golf store as well (there are none here where we live). Picked up a snazzy new driver with and RDX Smoke Blue shaft for $165. Figured that even if it doesn't kick my Titleist TS3 out of my bag, I'm likely to be able to recoup that cost.

Determining which tees to play from based on handicap is about as accurate as deciding on what time you should go to bed based on your age.  One doesn't necessarily correspond to the other.  

Not to be controversial but this would not work for me. This would have me playing from the black and at my age I do not have that distance. Frankly never had it either. I would be hitting 5 woods into par 4’s on my second shot.
After a few rounds from the blacks my handicap would be going up and I would (by the chart) be moving up again. I think you have to play from where you are comfortable playing from and what gives you the most fun and scoring potential.

Interesting that the longer irons are not as strongly lofted as the regular Stealth irons.  Seems like they would blend right in looks wise for a combo set.  Who knows though, maybe the extra mass in the HD's would balance out any gapping issues.

The women's side of golf is the fastest growing of all segments, and will be into the future, therefore, Fxxk 'em!   Sponsors sponsor to get their name in the spotlight.  Look to CME on this one for the blame, lack of communication is what I'd guess?  Stay proud, don't give an inch!

Hot take of all hot takes. The womens tour grew because of Mike whan. If the new commissioner doesn’t do her job and the members don’t honor their obligations the growth will stop and the large amount of money coming will go away.
