  1. I REALLY want a new push cart. I really need to get back to walking my home course as it's extremely flat. My current four-wheeled push cart has too much resistance in the wheels so it takes a bit of energy to push it. I'll be looking to see which cart takes the prize with the MGS ratings.

the two best I have seen and used are cliches 3.5 and my personal fav Sun Mountain speedCart. That thing is great

  2. I have issues with them becoming stinky. I use this febreeze odor stuff but some hats are stubborn and hold it in. It's hot here in Georgia and plenty of sweating.

    What do you's use?

  3. I'm also interested. Currently a GG Live user. One important question: it sounds like this is bringing with it some substantial software updates (the caddie feature, especially). I definitely interested in knowing if those will be restricted to the new device.

It seems to me that GG has lagged behind Arccos considerably in actually using the data it collects. Don't get me wrong: I really like the data that they do present. But, for instance, not being able to pull up a specific hole and see all the shots I've hit on that hole? Or what my average score on that hole is? They have all the data to do that, but haven't implemented it. I have to imagine that features like that have to be there if the caddie feature will now exist.

If you can, check out the desktop version. There is more info, like each hole.

  4. Today is my first time out for 2018 and boy should it be a doozy.... Huge sore head from football party last night so if I can make contact with the ball today it will a miracle. If the weather wasn't supposed to be so nice I would call in sick (playing golf) today. It's suppose to 59 degrees and sunny so I'll crawl out there and give it a go.

kingcscott is supposed to join us today. Tee times beginning at 10:48 and I apologize ahead of time for this sucky golf you are about to witness :D

it was a beautiful day and a fun round of golf. Maybe next time I'll play from my tees and y'all will get some push carts and walk with me. Lane is a pretty easy walk. Thanks for a good time.

  5. I'm in too. At around 210 and would like to start by getting to 195.

I haven't seen anyone mention getting to a gym or some form of exercise. Dieting is only one portion of weight loss. Fortunately for my lazy ass, there's a gym down the street.

I'll also second another comment. Drop or significantly reduce the booze and non-diet pop.

Looking forward to this! How about a sponsor for biggest loser prize? Golf in Hawaii?

it would have to be a percentage with a tie breaker.

I am also curious how loosing weight effects swings. Good and or bad.

  6. I find I can't hold it still enough to feel confident over the ball so I ground. But I try to pick it up then go back so the hands aren't behind the club head on the backswing

bobby Jones liked the soft wrist start. He liked the whip it could produce. I know the modern swing doesn't subscribe to this, but I think a little old and new are not improper. I am certainly no Adam Scott or Bobby Jones, but I start grounded and if that causes a little whip in a swing that I feel is fairly structured then so be it.
