I have bad ankles and getting worse with age. I either wear high topped Converse or Van's Skateboard shoes to play in. If I wear regular golf shoes then I have to wear my ankle braces. Those shoes may help me keep playing pain free. I talked to the GM of our whole golf group today and our course is a Puma dealer and he said he would let me know when they were released to the public. They talked about how great he was and he was -3 at the time not moving up the leaderboard. It made me think he was the one shooting 9 and 10 under par not Walker and Koepka. My favorite line was when they said they expect that Fowler will be the next one challenging for the Number 1 ranking. Sorry Rory and Jason, move over and let Rickie challenge. Its no wonder he was called the most over rated. If they fit me i would not have cared if they were pink. I was hoping someone would make high top golf shoes for men. I hope they make them avaible for the public. Guys like Fozzy and myself could really use them. One of the Assistant pros from my course told me today that Puma was not going to make those shoes for the public. I asked him why not? As popular as Rickie is that would be a no brainer if that was the case. Griffey was the man. The amount of talent he had was unreal. The game came so easily to him. What's even worse is he did this in a steroid plagued era. Its scary to think of the numbers he would've ended up with if he had stayed healthy.
