Evnroll V-Series Putters - 2023 Forum Review

Went out today to roll some on the practice green just trying to get used the putter which is starting to work out pretty well..want to get some familiarity with the evnroll before I jump into it. Playing 18 tomorrow to get some work in !

Played 18 yesterday putted pretty well but the putter shaft is bent where my hands are lower then I like from my old putter so I might have to see if I can get it bent to match my old putter. But anyway putted well and played well playing again Sunday but going to do some test tomorrow hopefully

So it seems my lie angle is off ... when I got fitted the fitter I always go to told me my lie of the putter is 69 so that is what I put for the specs but it seems that is making my hands to low which isn't huge problem but it makes my putting set up alittle bit different. I dived in a bit, I don't not claim to be an expert and I maybe I am not doing this correctly but I used digital angle-izer I use when I am doing crown molding and other stuff around the house. It seems like the Envoll is at 69 but my TM is at 73. The only thing I could think of is maybe the grip since one is a pistol and the other is the gravity grip or the fitter messed up ? Not sure but whatever not a big deal, I am going away this weekend and will play another round with it but I think I might take it to a place to see if I can get it bent to match my TM at 73. Also I noticed a little article on Mygolfspy about pistol grips vs straight grips and the chart shows that the straight grip has more of a miss right compare to the pistol grip and when I played on sunday I was missing big to the right. Been to the course a couple times plus a session on the practice green.  Had planned to go back out this past Sunday but had to deal with the Hurriquake 

So far looking pretty good, the second time out on the course had a little shakey day putting but pretty sure that was the Indian.

Wow that's a big difference!    Something 4* flatter than you're used to could certainly cause those pushes.  I do remember that article too, seems the pistol grip enhanced the closing of the face for some testers, leading to a left bias.  I played a round or two with a gravity grip and I recall it feeling very stable, could have something to do with keeping the face open a bit.

I think the pistol grip would help but like you said a huge difference might run it up to see if I can get it bent to be more in line with my other putter, or just try to get used to it more

The greens were punched yesterday but I decided to play 9 holes today regardless of that. It was a great chance to see how my putting with the Evnroll EV5.3 is doing on not-so-nice greens. Pleasantly surprised with today’s performance. Planning on returning for 9 or maybe 18 tomorrow.

I’ve had to make a couple of slight adjustments to my stroke and hand positioning but overall I’m happy with what I am seeing so far.

So far really like it, in my post earlier the only issue was it seems like the line angle is off from the putter I normally play. Not a huge issue but I do have to have my hands lower which I have to get used too. I am thinking about taking it to see if I can get the angle adjusted to match my other putter but the problem is I am not sure if the Gravity on the Evnroll is a big factor since my other putter has the pistol grip

Same with me, my lie angle is off from my other putter which makes my hands lower .. but I really like the club its smooth

I don't feel I have had to make any adjustments in my stroke.   So far very happy with how I have been putting with the Evnroll.

The right push is my biggest problem, so far it seems to have been less of a problem with the Evnroll compared to the Odyssey.

Yeah I had a little push but this makes it a bigger one .. I think if I can get the Allie angle looked at and fixed might help .. also might throw a pistol grip on it

Results been a mixed bag, I made some insane puts with the evnroll (literally a 50 footer off the green ) I think the big part was my set up which I think I am not getting more comfortable with the Envroll, I might switch grips, I like the gravity grip but I am not so consistent with it and might go back to the pistol grip.

I’m still liking what I’m seeing so far even with some minor adjustments to the way that I’m gripping the putter. I’m really enjoying the TourTac grip at this point.

So far its working well for me.  Last round had 29 putts (yeah I missed a few greens but still).

doesn't feel heavy at all in the head, if anything lighter than what i'm used to....it's 355g according to the website...there are weight kits though

Way kewl on the info.  How about stability  - does the lighter "feel" make it more push/pull oriented?

I have the gravity Grip .. I like it but need to get used to it .. might go back to the pistol grip
