So I just have to justify a bag/club/round to myself, and make sure the payment doesn't bounce. $350 bag isn't happening, no matter how sweet. Neither is a $600 Ai Smoke. Paying $110 tomorrow to play Pinehurst #1 is bad enough, but I've skipped a couple of recent opportunities to play so that's my self-justification. And we won't even talk about how much I'm spending to go back to Scotland, which could well have prevented me from a new driver, or putter, or 3-wood, or all of the above...
