Calling All SIM Golfers!

I am in.....my indoor league will start sometime in November....will give me a good reason to tell my buddy I need to come over and play on his simulator.

My league settings may be different than the parameter that will be set.  I like the 5 foot, 10 foot gimme flights.....anything other than that I do not control, the Commish sets the "conditions" for the ten of us in the league.    If it is much more than that, I would have to be out.

Our basic structure will be like the VCT, in that folks will be able to post their SIM rounds to a leaderboard. In order to accommodate as many types of SIM scores as we can, the parameters will be as universal as we can reasonably make them.

I'm currently building out my golf sim / pool house.   I'm going with the GolfVX T2 simulator.   I'm hoping the build will be completed by the end of October.   Over 300 courses included with the GolfVX T2 system.    Once it is live I will be in.

+1 for interest in the league. No preference on courses from me, but I'm a Mevo+ user with E6 access for what it's worth!

I’m very interested. The sims I use have E6 software. Putting might as well be random for how bad the flightscope launch monitors detect it. Chipping is occasionally missed too.lol

for number of putts, I guess having a 2-putt max distance would be needed too. Otherwise everyone would put 2-putt if on green and outside the 5/20ft one-putt limit  

I will be using the sims at least twice a week through winter so having a purpose and target for the session would help keep focus!

I haven’t taken part in any of the MGS forum leagues to date but keen to give it a go.

My SIM league plays 9 hole events on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday every week, and we play world-famous courses (Pebble Beach, St Andrews, Bethpage Black, Casa de Campo, etc), with putting included. The SIM is made by HD Golf, a Canadian company.  Would this be compatible with playing and posting in this MGS virtual SIM league?

I would think so. The SIM league will be similar to the VCT in that anyone can post a score weekly. The challenge in all of this is figuring out a scoring system that allows the greatest number of members to compete, but we are working on it. Details soon!

I'm in.  GC2 and GSPro.  I can record all my rounds.  Here's yesterday.  Me and a bud.  One of my best rounds on my sim for sure.

I selected GSPro and also have Awesome Golf. I do have E6 with my Garmin r10, but that is limited and do not have anything Apple product to utilize that free addition.

Know the rounds I have played, would need to determine tee boxes, whether environment is turned on (ie, does the rough punish you), and putts (can’t putt on the Rapsodo, so set up circle around the hole for 1 putt/2putt).

This! Believe Tee boxes go along with Rating/Slope, assuming they will be submitted with score. Environment effect on/off is something we for sure have to dictate as I'm unsure if all sim software has it?

To clarify, on SIMs that don't have putting capabilities. there is usually an option to set a circular distance around the hole to determine how many putts you would need to finish the hole, i.e. an approach shot that finishes inside of 5 feet to the pin would be a 1 putt. On rapsodo specifically, a 1 putt and a 2 putt circle is established, anything outside of those circles but still on the green would be a 3 putt. The standard setting is 10 ft/30 ft.

Makes total sense. I believe on GSPro it is 10ft/40ft and outside of those but on the green is 3 putt. That's the only reason I ask.

Right on. I do also have the ability to pair webcam with R10 on GS Pro for putting if needed. Guess that nugget can be added to my portion if necessary.
