Monday morning, the bulldozers hit my course (Dye's Valley at the TPC) for a complete regrassing and a refresh renovation.  Closed to all play until after the Web.com Tour Championship in late September.  Planting the same Champions bermudagrass with which they resodded the Stadium last year.  Relocating four greens and redoing all the bulkheads.  

 

They've worked out reciprocals for us at various courses in the area.  A few good deals, thought they could have done better.  At least the first round "away" was a good one:  83 at Amelia National up near Fernandina Beach (about 10 miles from the current Big Break Academy course--we'll be playing that in a couple of weeks).  Amelia National is a very good course if you ever have a chance to play it.

 

Variety is good, I guess.

I think you'll love the time away - look at the variety of courses that you'll get to play.  If ever I could get up there in the summer and you were willing what would it cost for us to play the Stadium course?

Guest rate with my discount is currently $250.  May be cheaper in the middle of the summer.  No caddie is required for play with a member, so that saves another $80-100 (incl tip) off of what someone off the street would pay.
