GolfSpy Barbajo
Srixon unveiled its fall equipment lineup today. They're replacing the Z - 45 series with the new Z -65 series, with 2 new drivers, new FW woods and hybrids and 3 iron sets. The new stuff is being announced today, but the official launch will be September 16th.Details are sketchy, but here's what we know... Drivers: Two driver models, the Z 565 and Z 765. Z 565 is 460CC, adjustable, available in 9.5 & 10.5, Miyazaki Kaula Mizu 5 shaft is stock, available in S &R flex. Srixon says it's the higher launching of the two, more forgiving and has a slight draw bias. Z 765 is 445CC and is designed for higher swing speed players. The Mizu 6 shaft is stock, in S and X flex., Both drivers are D5 swingweight, and Srixon says the new technology includes the Power Wave Sole - which allows the lower face to bend, increasing distance across the entire face. There's also the Stretch Flex Cup Face, which increases the size of the sweet spot, and the Lightweight Crown - 4 grams removed from the crown and repositioned, increating MOI and lowering the CG. Both drivers will list at $449.99 FW Woods: The Z F65 Fairway wood series is NOT adjustable, and are split into two categories. The Low Lofts (3+, 3 and 4) are designed for maximum distance with the Stretch Cup Face and a new crown design. There's a crown step that adds flexibility to the upper part of the face, increasing ball speed. The 5 and 7 woods are designed for control - the crown channel is progressively deeper, promoting higher launch and optimal spin. MSRP is $249.99 Hybrids: The Z H65 hybrids are designed for - what else? - Maximum distance and higher, more forgiving launch. The hybrids also have a crown channel, which get progressively deeper. Lower lofts have a lower CG to promote higher initial launch, while the higher loft has a more rounded sole to promote shot versatility. The hybrids are not adjustable, and available in a 2 (16*), 3 (19*) and 4 (22*). MSRP is $229.99 What's in the bag: Driver: TSR3; DynaPWR Carbon FW Wood: DynaPWR 3-wood; TSR 2+ Hybrids: PXG Gen4 18-degree Utility Irons: ZX MkII 20* Irons:; 699/699 Pro V2 Combo; D9 Forged; MT86 (coming soon!); VIP 1025 V-Foil MB/CB; Wedges: RTX6 Zipcore Putter: HB Soft Milled 10.5; Newport Special Select; Willamette, BB8; 8802; MATI Monto Ball: Tour B RXS; Z-STAR Diamond; Triad Stat Tracker/GPS Watch: Follow @golfspybarbajo

chershey
Glad to see their irons still look fantastic. I could definitely game a combo set of these. I tried the original 545s and 745s about 6 months and almost pulled the trigger, until I tried the Apex. They definitely feel better than most of the clubs on the market.
