If you guys find a fix for tinnitus let me know! I’m a Navy EOD Tech whose been around too many IED blasts to count! Lots of deep diving, helicopters, gun fire, and demo shots doesn’t help! Had a hell of a great time in the community but my tinnitus is terrible. I will say, I think I’ve made peace with it, though tho thread did make me realize mine is worse than I admit to.

Whoa there buddy, back up a second. You have a 128mph Driver SS and you've been playing regular flex irons?
Whats your 6/7 iron SS? over 100mph I reckon. How did you manage with regular flex or did you just adapt as most good players can?

I took 1” off my driver and a half inch off my three wood. Hit them both much better!

It’s hard to have a bad experience at arrowhead. That place is pure.

At my place, we have 2” cups in the practice green. Putt at one of those for 15 minutes before a round, then the holes look like they are 3 times as big...

Another one, just for fun... I'm not currently making a lot of my birdie puts but thought seeing this lighthearted reminder to focus on my putts might help!  I'd choose to donate to an animal rescue group, perhaps the international humane society.

Mine is on 24/7 but varies in the amount of 'noise' I hear. I notice it most when I'm just sitting and relaxing. Doesn't bother me when I'm golfing but then it's probably because I'm concentrating.

I would definitely recommend Myrtle Beach especially for a couple of guys in their 20s. The Myrtle Beach area has close to 100 golf courses to chose from and if put together a package you can get a decent rate per round. After Golf you’ll have the beach, great bars and incredible food.

I retired as a Command Sergeant Major in the US Army. I started out as an infantry medic and held leadership positions that increased in complexity and responsibility along the way. Well for roughly 45 years, I've played this game, and heard lots of Hole In One stories, and have only witnessed 1 in all those years.
Today, I witnessed a second one....that came from MY CLUB!!
That's right my first ever Hole In One in our Thursday Morning League.   Here's the specs:
145 yards back pin
PING G410 6 hybrid (it was into the wind 😀)
ProV1X  #12  CG2 stamped

Looked good the entire way landed just over the ridge and fed toward the flag, the actual hole is hidden due to the ridge, but when we got up there and I didn't see it on the green, I thought..."oh man it ran off the back!!)  didn't see it anywhere in the fringe as i was walking to the green, so I took the obligatory look in the hole and there it was.    I honestly don't remember what I said or did, but one of my playing partners said, he wishes he had a camera for the expression on my face!    Pretty much shock and I didn't believe it.
In the picture you'll see a Closest to the pin marker on the hole, it was a good shot in of itself about 10 feet to the right of the pin, I'm sure someone will be upset.
So oh yeah, I mentioned two achievements.   So that was just one very good hole of a very good round.   I shot 39/43 for a personal best 82.   Funny thing, the hole in one was not on the nine with the 39.   Sadly that 43 was a result of two holes not being able to concentrate after the HIO,  Taking a triple and double in 2 of the next three holes.
