Everything Wilson makes is pretty good right now. As long as it fits your eye and gam eits great. A super low handicap who hates offset wont like the D200 but they will like the blades and FG Tour CB line. The drivers are good too. Wedges are good. The golf balls are good. Its all good

Every time I hit the 100's at a Demo Day I come away thinking "I could game those - I could game those." I can't, but that doesn't stop me from thinking it.

They have somehow figured out how to make a blade that's pretty forgiving, and what's really weird is I can hit the 3 and 4 irons way better and more consistently than the 8 or 9 irons. I don't get it either...

That said, the FG Tour V6's are in the bag for the time being, even thought the TT AMT shafts might not be quite right for me. On the hunt for some C-Tapers on the Bay to swap out.

Im in love with the v6s. If I could talk the family accountant into budgeting new irons that's where I'd go

During the last 3 years, at various points I've played FG Tour wedges, F5 irons and numerous Wilson balls. One of my regular foresome (2 cap) just got V4 irons on clearance and he raves about them.

Last few rounds I've been playing Duo U and FG Tour balls and man those are seriously legit.

Wilson is doing good things, just need to find a way to get that top 3-4 OEM respect and brand recognition.

I noticed Streelman playing a M2 over the weekend.

Looks like he didn't stick with the Triton. That can't be good for them marketing wise.

Well, he barely made the cut but DNF.  What happened?

All I know is that those FG Tour 100s are so aesthetically pleasing. I've never thought about gaming Wilsons, but they sure do look good.

I game FG tour V4s and love them. I tested the 100s but they are very tight blades so unless you have a handicap of 3 or better I would stay clear unless you want to hang them on the wall as art.. I mean they are worth it! My FG Tour v4s are forgiving and even if I hit it off the toe they still go as far as a center hit just 3 yards right or left of target. I appreciate the feedback though knowing immediately where it's headed the moment after impact. Wilson has been killing it in Europe and I can't wait until they bring the brand back to the U.S. IT won't be long!

You are the first person I have seen that likes that driver. My buddy Bear (who is a bigger club ho than I am) bought the first one sold on this beach. I mean literally he was at the PGASS when they opened the morning after and bought the first one. He hated the thing. He still has it. I can not figure out why he bought it in the first place because he is a dyed in the wool Callaway man. In fact he has both of the new Callaway drivers. I did hit it a couple of times and I see some potential. I will probably end up with it knowing him. Right now I am still experimenting with the Homna G1-X but am still love with my 915 D-2. In fact I put the 915 back in the bag. Now I did notice a tinny clink when I hit it but that is no problem. With the sole plate design it is easy to stuff cotton balls in it to silence it up. I forgot what shaft he has in his but I think I can see some potential by installing a Mitsubshi Diamana shaft in it. I have gotten as big on those shafts as I did the old UST Pro Force ones in the past. I did not like the crown graphics though. If I seriously gamed one I would have to do something there.

I noticed you said you got yours fitted and tuned for you that is a great step. I will say one other thing with the sole plate design I see a lot of potential for tuning the weight even more than with the weight kit and extra sole plate that came with it to begin with. Also with ready access to the inside I can see some face flex tuning. Some of my mods and tuning may not be kosher with the USGA but screw them.

Wilson Staff can play with anybody in the market. The 100's ARE gorgeous but for guys who wear a dime sized spot on the sweet spot. Not me.

Best golf I've played was with the original FG Tour...After going elsewhere with fitted, expensive clubs I've gone with the F5 forged. Hit the V6 and liked them but the F5 suits my once a week current game. My fitted players irons are great when I'm able to play more but the F5 feels great and is more forgiving without looking like a game improvement iron. Didn't catch on market wise but spent a lot of time on trackman with both the V6 and F5 and the numbers pointed to what suited me best. I also like the satin finish of the 5....Different strokes...

Is Wilson Staff back?  I'll let you know.

I just received my D300 5W, 4H, 5H from 2nd Swing.  All used in mint condition; 5W 55% off and hybrids 40% off.  These are the first Wilson Staff clubs I have owned since the Deep Red driver, the second driver I ever owned.

Except for the Bridgestone driver and SCOR wedges, my bag is Wilson Staff long clubs and MacGregor irons. Scary!!

I think Wilson clubs R in "witness protection" in this area. I can't remember the last time I saw them displayed in any golf shop. I'm sure their here just not marketed.

OK, I rushed to the club after I got these bad boys.  Went to the back of the range; less crowded and I can hit from uneven lies.  All shots went straight!!  I mean scary straight!!!  Didn't matter what the lie was.  One of the guys I walk with during the week was near the range on #9 and ask if I wanted to play the back nine with him.  OK, let's hit the course.

These D300 clubs are very light but easy to control.  I have a slow swing speed; 86-90 and the regular flex fits my swing perfectly.  I hit the 4H and 5H higher and further than my RBZ 3H and 5H.  The 5W is so easy to hit off the fairway, launches high for me which is what I was looking for.  The top end of my bag was the weakest part of my game, but when I learn how far I hit these clubs, I think it will boost my confidence and hopefully result in lower scores.

Yes, Wilson Staff is definitely back and you need to give them a try.
