One thing I wanna be sure to see is what the sole of these look like after this testing period, and plenty of rounds. Curious as to how well the iron numbers hold up over time.

I'll definitely be interested in seeing the Stage 2's when they go up.   Will be good prep for my upcoming JPX 900 review.  Not so much to see what style you guys have, as we want individual perspectives, but to see what sort of characteristics and traits you point out.   Questions such as TSauer's above are good, as it tells us specific things people want to hear for their needs!!

My Stage 2 basically describes the honeymoon period of my irons - it was a shotgun wedding that's ended well for me, somehow. If you want more information, you'll have to wait for my Stage 2 - which might be by this weekend (hopefully).

Working on finishing up the Stage 2. Anything else you'd like to see?

How the spin and roll out control was, especially with PW and 9 iron. I am thinking about using a glide 2.0 46 deg over a PW iron.

Two questions for y'all.

First, on a scale from 1-10 how soft would you rate these irons? 10 being softest.

Also a little project for ya. Since the i200s have the same hydro pearl finish as their Glide wedges, how well do they perform when they're wet vs when they're dry? Do you notice the ball flight changing? Or perhaps distance?

I've been playing in mostly wet conditions, your question will be answered in my Stage 2. The other one too. But a little foreshadow, it's about a X but sounds like a X...

Great start everyone, Shankster love the little shout out to my hometown Kitchener! We talked before about your horseshoe win and my ignorance to the world horseshoe community.. No idea there was one! Haha.

Me too. There is a Taco truck here in town that is top notch. I make my weekly trip rain, snow, or shine. They need to park at the course on the weekends.

We are always trying to come up with creative or different types of events to host at our course.  I mean everyone seems to do a Masters par 3 contest in April, or a US Open tough (high rough, fast greens) type outing in June or Bye Week Blah's during the Ravens or Redskins Bye week, come play golf since no football is going on.

here's one I suggested that I think our GM and Head Pro Liked.

Food Truck Open.   Have a shotgun start, after the golf instead of your typical buffet meal of ribs or chicken or hamburgers and boring speeches.    Have three or four food trucks come set up right outside the pavilion, and have a local band playing rock or country or whatever in the pavilion.   Make it a good ole party.

I need to get more involved at my nearby course. I've met some of the guys that play there, and they aren't people I would like to play golf with, let alone share a Taco with... but it gets lonely on the course by yourself all the time.

Sounds like where you are I would thoroughly enjoy! If I get down that way in the near future I will let you know!

Ended up not getting i200 irons. They felt great though and look amazing, but I just couldn't get the spin numbers up high enough with my swing compared to other better player irons, even on perfect strikes. I really wanted to go Ping again, but the performance delta was too great. Oh well :(
