BigtazzGolf
The logo isn't an issue for me, but as someone that does not like lining his putts up with a line, I find that alignment aide a bit over the top - especially for shots from the rough/fairway/sand/fringe where you can't line up the ball so that it can't be seenYou line your ball up off the green?Do you tee it up in the fairway as well hahaha ðŸŒï¸â›³ï¸ BigTazz Sent from my iPhone using MyGolfSpy Grip n Rip it Chicks dig the LONG ball In my staff bag King F7+ Mitsubishi Tensei CK Pro White 60 - Graphite Tour X-Stiff CBX 13.5 3 Wood Atomic Irons 4-AW (reviewing) CG16 Satin 52* 588 RTX 2.0 56* and 60* Sentio Sierra 101-M Putter Proud tester of the Tommy Armour ATOMIC Irons

BIG STU
... I hacksawed open a Maxfli HT100 just to see what the inside was like. The rubber bands kinda "pop" but when I got to the little rubber middle it literally exploded and some of the goop got in my eye. Got a little nervous because it stung pretty good but it washed out and I didn't have any problems. LOL I didn't realize it was pressurized. I never cut one open with a knife or a saw because my old man had told me a story that happened back in the 40s or early 50s Said that this guy he knew cut a Maxfli open to see and the stuff squirted in one of his eyes and permanently blinded him in one eye. I have thrown them in a fire and watched the rubber bands pop and then the center sorta pop when it exploded. To be fair, what equipment looks like is quite different than the logo on a ball since all golf balls basically look the same at address. I think a more accurate comparison could be an equally "offensive" logo on the sole or rear of a golf club. SPY VIP The Dansome Posted November 10, 2017 Author SPY VIP Share Posted November 10, 2017 The smaller more refined logo on the cut balls does not bother me at all, but it became a review point based on feedback from everyone I showed the ball to. I would definitely rank the percentage right at 50% of people who immediately loved or hate the it. You guys may laugh at this and that's great feedback, but when giving overviews of the products this becomes a valid point. Yes, just like in life there is always a percentage of the population who don't get bother by things, but then there's another percentage that has it's own quirks. For example I have always, since I was 8 and starting out, used the logo side of a ball (not alignment or model side) to give me a rough estimate of alignment when teeing the ball up. I've always found it easier to address the ball this way off the tee and laugh all you want, but I'm actually distracted by non-traditional logos such as the solo Bridgestone B or say OnCore golf's large graphic. Call it a quirk, but it helps me a lot. Yo #JustPlayBetter Follow @GolfSpyMBP

When I was purchasing used grade AAAA Pro Vs I had a deal going. One of my ball diver suppliers said that logo balls were hard to sell even in AAAA condition. On that deal I am like you in that it does not bother me in the least if it had a logo of a pile of sh!t on it. LOL I do remember one used Pro V that had a logo for an Porta John company on it with a outhouse. Lately I have been playing new Master Grip C-4 balls or the Super Soft Callys new. On your other thought I have seen on other forums guys that refuse to play (insert name of offending company) equipment because they think the company is a bunch of scumbags no matter how well they hit the equipment. Personally I play what works for me. I am not brand loyal except in the classic department which I am a Macgregor and Toney Penna collector. ttucliffhanger
I have played the white, which was closest to my normal gamer, the Srixon Q-Star and loved it. Tried the the blue and liked it better, then they came out with the Grey and it's the in between the white and blue and it feels like butter! I love it! I really liked the Z-Star but refused to pay $45 A dozen so that's why I played the Q-Stars and to me I get what I got from the Q-Stars which was less side spin off the tee, but get the spin around the greens like the Z-Star bc of the urethane cover. The Grey has become my gamer! I've played in temps as low as 40° to 90° here in Arkansas and didn't see any losses in the cold temps. Amount of spin will also have something to do with type of greens as in how soft they are. I've played on soft and hard greens and still get action from this ball, which I like. As far as the back of the club I have played lead tape covered blades for years. The back of the club does not bother me one bit. The only thing that concerns me is how it sits as far as sole bounce and offset on irons. Now for some reason the white drivers and fairways bother me on the few I have hit. Somehow I have trouble orientating lining up the ball and I get glare.
