revkev
Is it to late to join you all on this "adventure"? I really need to lose 25-30 pounds and get more active. I am trying to get 45 mins of cardio a day in to help offset all the sitting I do at my office job. I really need to drops some carbs too. It's tough though a sandwich is so easy and cheap to make for lunch. Good luck to you all on reaching your goals!!! Sent from my Pixel using Tapatalk I joined mid stream and was excited to see so many familiar names here. I'm supposed to have a “group†that I'm a part of for my work fitness program but mostly they're crickets (accept the trainer, she's awesome). I'm very thankful for the MGS community. I came looking for answers about the golf ball and have found tons of new friends. I'm at 14.5 lbs! That's .3 of a pound away from the goal that the program set for me. Personally I want another 6lbs. In the next nine weeks and then I will re-evaluate from there. I really think another 10 after that or 16 from where I'm at today would be ideal. I still hate the every day weigh ins. Today has the potential to cause some issues but if it's more prime rib and asparagus and less potatoes and no pie I should escape relatively unharmed. ole gray
Ok so my Masters week report in goes like this Back in November I weighed 226 lbs. At that time I decided to cut back on a few things with sugar products being at the top of the list. We started this thread close to the end of the year with Masters week being our target goal. I weighed in at 215 this morning so it has been a good transition. I didn't reach my target goal and have a good ways to go however I realize it's a life style change and not a diet that will help me reach and maintain a healthy weight. revkev
Hit the program goal that I was given yesterday. Got a very nice congratulatory email that then invited me to create a new 16 week goal (I hit my first one of 15 lbs. in 8 weeks). It gave me a suggested ranged and I opted for 10 lbs., near the top end. Honestly though my goal will be 15 more or under 180 by Penny's birthday. August 11. I weighed 170 when I graduated from college. I haven't seen the 170's in 25 years. I think somewhere in the mid 170's would be just right. So there's still a ways to go.
