MikeJ
I was checking out Phil’s new logo balls in this article when I noticed something more interesting, to me at least. https://golf.com/gear/golf-balls/phil-mickelson-golf-ball-logo/ Look at Phil’s ball and you’ll see a dot after Chrome Soft X. That’s definitely not a retail version regardless of his logo. Does anyone know what’s different about this… I guess I’ll call it a right dot? GregGarner
I mean, it's only been 20 hours and not many of us are likely able to disclose details on what appears to be a Tour-only offering USGA has it listed as a conforming version, if that helps tony@CIC 1 Quote Driver: ZX5 LS MkII 9.5* (@ 9.0*) with 46.5" Ventus Blue 6X 3-wood: SIM 15* with Diamana Limited 75S 5-wood: RADspeed 18.5* with Motore X F3 60S 2i: ZX with SteelFiber i95 Stiff 4hy: TS3 23* with Tensei AV Blue 70 S 4i-7i ZX7, 8i-PW Z-Forged, Modus3 Tour 120 S 50*, 55* RTX 6 Modus3 Tour 125 60* RTX Full Face ZipCore DG Spinner S400 Putter: Toulon Chicago with a Quad Tour or HB SOFT Milled 10.5S with UST All-in Ball: Chrome Tour (but I might still have some Left Dashes hanging around) Bag: Ltd Edition Tartan, blue/green/yellow Using to keep track of my shots Tested: D7 Forged 3i-PW, KBS Tour-V 110S - Official Review Blind Ball Test (Ball #3 vs Ball #4) - Unofficial Review V3 GPS Watch + Tags - Official Review Vero X2 - Official Review The Stack System - Official Review
Tyler86
I bet its made by Titleist, for Callaway, so its good enough for Phil to play. Hence the dot. RickyBobby_PR
Phil pretty much always plays a non retail version of the Callaway ball. Only time I remember him playing a retail version was the initial CSX but he was playing it as a tour only before they released it to retail. tony@CIC 1 Quote Driver: PXG 0811 X+ Proto w/UST Helium 5F4 Wood: TaylorMade M5 5W w/Accra TZ5 +1/2”, TaylorMade Sim 3W w/Aldila rogue white Hybrid: PXG Gen2 22* w/AD hybrid Irons: PXG Gen3 0311T w/Nippon modus 120 Wedges: TaylorMade MG2 50*, Tiger grind 56/60 Putter: Scotty Caemeron Super Rat1 Ball: Titleist Prov1
