One could say he was a fluke after starting the first of 72 holes with a quad, then going on to win his first tourney. Then one could say that he was in the right place at the right time when he rolled in eagle after eagle at the Presidents Cup... now he backs all that up with his second win at the Shriners... Oh yeah... he is 20 years old. I don't want to be "that guy" that says he is "The Next..." fill in the gap of any of the short list of all time greatest golfers... but this kid has GAME! How about being 20 and people are already saying "Yeah, but he hasn't won a major"... give him time people... give him 10 months. Exciting time for him and golf. He had a great interview with NLU a few weeks back. Highly recommend! The fire he showed at the Presidents cup was what drew me to him immediately. The celebrations are what golf needs to stand out right now. ejgaudette
Totally agree with everyone, his energy and personality are exactly what the game needs. tdroma98
Agreed Golfspy! Tom Kim is going to be a star. His play is poised and showing he is the real deal. Impressed with his poise, not to mention he has a great caddy who keeps Tom focused. Kim's play during Presidents Cup certainly gave him confidence, which clearly he's parlayed into a quick PGA Tour victory! Helps ingrain those positive shots, as a larger emotional response is easier to remember. See a psychological case for more flair on the course, now lets see it. I mean look at Jordan as an example he plays with emotion sometimes good sometimes bad you can tell when he isn’t playing well and it can effect him. I’d love to see the pumped up Jordan and Tom Kim pumped up go head to head in a playoff would be awesome. I mention JS because he is the other player who has emotion often most others don’t unless it’s every once in a while. ejgaudette and GolfSpy TCB

I am absolutely taking this to the course! great reminder @ejgaudette!!!
