Club Fitting Results

Went in to 2nd Swing to trade in an arm lock putter that’s gotten me in trouble with 3 putts one too many times. Ended up going down the rabbit hole of trying 3 woods. The one I have is an old Cobra X Speed 13 degree, oldest club in the bag. Ended up testing a few based on price point. Tested the Srixon zx, Cobra LTDx, Mizuno ST-z, Callaway EpicFlash, and Titleist TSi3. Ended up going with the TSi3 because the numbers were the best, even though I didn’t like the feel of it compared to some of the other clubs. Anyone have a fitting experience where you ended up going with something you didn’t expect and it turned out to be a great buy?

Yup! 

And I think you'll really like the TSi3.

Mine was also Titleist, but it was being fit into the t100 irons. I'm a good player, but never thought the T100 would be for me yet they have been awesome scoring clubs.

Congratulations on the new club selection!  I love reading these "unexpected " fitting posts.

When it's time for me to finally go for a fitting, I feel like I will have the least amount of expectations walking into one.

My Mizuno JPX921's I got fitted for lead me in an opposite direction, I was looking at the Tour model, ended up hitting the forged and my numbers improved a good bit, Even though I'm on the downside of my hay day, I can still compete with the best of them. But going in expecting one model and coming out with another really surprised me but am better off with the forged and getting the most out of my game.

Happens to even the worst of us haha. As A rather high handicapper I never thought the irons id would be fit for were Mizuno 919 Forged irons. Even compared to my Ping G710's(SGI irons) I thought I needed based on scores and experience. Its why having an open mind and finding a fitters you mesh with works so well
