I spent more than an hour (probably closer to 90 minutes) between watching and re-watching the videos, taking the golf ball fitting survey and filling out the submission form, plus attempting to “correct” it five times now. That’s entirely enough! As much as I like participating here, this forum is getting more difficult to use every day. GospelnGolf
When I started playing golf a few years ago, I was listening to Michael Breed (professional golf instructor and 2012 PGA Teacher of the Year - Sirius XM radio host "A New Breed of Golf") and he was discussing one of the best ways to discover the right golf ball for yourself. He said to choose a few different brand balls and play them for a couple rounds, and continue to do so until you keep going back to that "one" golf ball that works the best for your game. So, over a season, I did exactly that. I went through all the major brands and a few less known brands, as well as the many different options within those brands. By seasons end, the golf ball I kept going back to was the Bridgestone e12 Contact. So, that was my "go to" golf ball throughout the first few years until I became a mid-handicap golfer. At this point - with a well rounded understanding of the many dynamics of the game, as well as gaining significant swing speed - I was fitted for a new set of clubs and decided to once again utilize Breed's golf ball testing methodology. And, the results were similar to the first time, except it changed from the Bridgestone e12 Contact to the Bridgestone Tour B XS. Anyway, I was very excited when Bridgestone released their new golf balls with their innovative MindSet visual technology. I purchased a box two weeks ago and after playing a few 9-hole rounds (working up to 18 with the new knee), I can attest to the mental focus that the MindSet design provides. With that, I congratulate those selected to try the new Bridgestone golf balls and I pray that they will enhance your game, and by doing so, provide an even purer enjoyment of the game we all love and hate...and then love again. Popular Post GolfSpy_APH
That was a lot of responses to go through and a lot of members who will be getting golf balls! In total 183 members will be receiving golf balls for this run. Bridgestone is currently working on the order and they will be sent out hopefully this week. When I know the balls have been sent out I will create a new thread for the discussion. Congrats to all who got the correct answers and actually had forum accounts! Looking forward to hearing what you find with these golf balls! - Oh and E12 testers will be receiving the RX as this is closest ball with the MindSet feature. Just an fyi. The process is simple, but you need to read and follow instructions in order to take part. What is it? Bridgestone is looking for up to Forum members to get a free dozen Bridgestone Mindset golf balls for sampling. Yes, you read that right up to 125 members. That's not all though, if you are in a part of the country that isn't able to golf right now, don't worry! Next month we will run this back for another week and another 125 members. Then again the next month and the month after that for a total of up to 500 members! Note: Each member is only eligible to participate once! Pick your month for when you can golf the most and get the most out of this opportunity! A huge thank you and shout out to Bridgestone for this. So how do you apply and what do you have to do? Step 1: Watch this YouTube video Then watch it again. Seriously, a second time would be beneficial and it is only 2 minutes long. Step 2: Go over to Bridgestones website and go through their Ball Selection Guide. https://www.bridgestonegolf.com/en-us/find-my-ball/ball-selector-tool#/ Once you have done that you will know which ball is best for you! Easy. Post a screenshot or photo of your results. Step 3: Fill out this form and answer all the questions correctly! Questions need to be correct in order to be eligible for the free dozen golf balls. Link below for those that are not able to fill out as is in the forum above. There are two sections - one for the questionnaire and second for shipping information to be sent to Bridgestone. (https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSc1xWU_2ZHalyaHbKJGBO-KP5nCs5iYtTa6W9XMUvM96IUUrQ/viewform?usp=sf_link) Step 4: Wait for your golf balls and get ready to start posting! We will leave this open for 1 week and then send all the correct responses to Bridgestone for them to ship out the golf balls. Few final notes for this opportunity - There will be no PM or other message confirming your participation. When the golf balls show up we will ask that you post and share your experience with them. We will create that thread after the opportunity has closed. Last - take an extra minute and read all of this again! In this case it really pays to read and follow instructions! Thanks all! WE ARE MAKING ANOTHER RUN! We will be giving away another 385 dozen golf balls! (If you got yours last time, sorry one time only!) Read the first post or the quoted post, fill out the forum and if you get the questions right we will send you a dozen Bridgestone Mindset golf balls of your choosing! Post a screenshot below with your results of the Ball Selector Tool! jbsap
Been curious about these balls. I have been really getting into using alignment aids the past two years, love the concept, but always get worried that the ball is getting “too busy” and I worry too much about the perfect alignment before I even address the ball to make a good stroke.
